DID ANYONE CATCH THE GRAPHIC NBC SPLASHED ACROSS THE SCREEN ON SUNDAY DURING THE TELEVISED FIREWORKS DISPLAY FROM NYC?
THEY SHOWED THE AMERICAN FLAG IN THE BACKGROUND. THE FIRST SCREEN SAID ACROSS IT "ONE NATION", THE NEXT SCREEN SAID "INDIVISIBLE", AND THE NEXT SAID "WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL".
THE TOOK OUT "UNDER GOD".........SHAME ON YOU NBC FOR BOWING TO PRESSURE FROM PEOPLE WHO WANT TO CHANGE WHAT THIS COUNTRY STANDS FOR. I WON'T BE WATCHING YOUR CHANNEL AGAIN, NOR WILL I BUY ANY OF YOUR SPONSORS' PRODUCTS. YOU BLEW IT, BIG TIME!!

It makes a lot of sense to me. This is a country that is based on freedom; we're free to believe whatever we want. Our national anthems shouldn't favor anyone.

"God" should be removed from all forms of government.

I believe khan was referring to the pledge, not so much NBC...Anyways the original pledge didn't have under god in it, it was added in the 40s or 50s. So really, who cares! Say under god if that's what you want, otherwise don't.
