Are you kidding, the guy was crawling across the street, I don't think it had anything to do with speeding. I'm sure the driver didn't see someone crawling across a busy, main road. Who would ever expect that? For anyone to begin blaming speed as a factor, the poor person that hit him I'm sure is already feeling bad enough for something that was out of their control.

That poor girl, she probably never saw him till it was to late. Why was he crawling did he have to much to drink? I'm sure the girl feels bad enough already it was not her fault.

Please don't make funny comments about something so tragic. No one benefits from reading these types of remarks about the victim or the driver. Someone lost his life and nobody knows the real story so please refrain from the unnecessary comments.

From the way the Eagle reported this, it was stated that he had walked first and then had crawled....? So, certainly, he could have been hit by another car first.

A disturbing story, nonetheless.

I'm hoping this is a joke? How many times have we all come across an animal in the road at night, tried to avoid it, but ending up hitting it? If this man was crawling it would be similar to the many times drivers have hit an animal crossing the road. Certainly not the girl's fault.

I can't believe people could be so ignorant as to try to blame the girl driving. The fact of the matter is the man was drunk and crawling across a busy highway. His fault entirely. Tragic, but not the driver's fault.

Shame on you, Berkshire Eagle, for making a tragic death into a sensationalized morbid drama. That man that was killed on Stockbridge Rd was my brother. He did not deserve to have his last bit of dignity stripped from him by your poor choice of wording. You have compounded this family's grief more than you will ever know.

He was walking not driving so who cares if he had been drinking, he wasn't driving.
He was most likely already hit by another car. Witnesses report he had been seen walking shortly before this accident.
The cars on that road drive way too fast.
I am sure the driver's cell phone will be checked to ensure she wasn't distracted, that is easy to confirm. Let's not speculate.
Prays to all involved, very sad story with tragic outcome. So much heartache for all involved.
Moment of silence please and hopefully the Eagle will be responsible and remove the ignorant hateful posts here.
