This does not surprise me in the least, she has a drug/ drinking problem that couldn't possibly have gone unnoticed by the town officials

This will be the second time that a town employee was accused of stealing money in West Stockbridge. A few years back there was a case too, and that included taking Boy Scout troop money.

Oh, that's a good idea......let a thief work off a debt. You want her working for you? She HAS to go to jail.

Hey Pal, give it a rest!
The Berkshire Eagle got scooped/beaten (by me) on this story by almost three full days!
The ones thriving "on this sort of thing" are The Eagle's slowpoke editors who are getting paid to publish 'news'.
If those jokers are three days late, who is actually getting short-changed?
In the Internet Age, The Eagle, instead of speeding up the dissemination of news, appears to be slowing down.

The eagle could not post, due to the State Police request. Get your facts straight, get off these forums and get a life!!!

Where's your evidence that the State Police ever made such a request?
Since when do State Police request a newspaper NOT to report on the existence of an investigation AFTER the alleged perpetrator has been apprehended?

Funny that in your thread on Topix, you were able to post no substantiation until the Eagle article was published. Perhaps the Beagle merely has the journalistic integrity, that you are sorely lacking.

Perhaps, Angry Lides, or maybe The Eagle in the Internet Age is just getting slower.
Hey, Lides, The Eagle could use a good plodder, why don't you apply?
I bet Dean Singleton would hire you in a Berkshire minute!

I will leave the plodding, as well as the unsubstantiated speculation to those who are unqualified, such as yourself.

if it comes out that she is guilty then she should go to jail just like liz and have to pay it back.also should get some rehab help too.so sad !they should have never let someone hold two postions in in same town again, thought they learned that it was a bad idea with liz lavalette.

There isn't a Mass. statute that prevents a person from serving in those two positions. Actually it's quite common in small towns.

I'm still waiting for your proof on the van running maybe you and the Eagle should get together for making up stories. You just love to knock people down don't you. But you fit right in with them on story telling. ha ha ha I also said it was the law for Massachusetts you were in DC. Now your just brushing me off on your proof.
