I'm a photojournalist and spent a whole day there. I pretty much had an open ticket - I attended church, visited several families and the Millar's invited me into their home for dinner. I was allowed to take some photographs, but they didn't want me taking pics of the children which is understandable.

I found them all to be very welcoming, yet understandably frustrated with people making assumptions about them. It's basically a religious community. They accept all, so I can understand how and why some bad eggs might have slipped through the cracks. They have different beliefs then us, but that doesn't make them wrong or right... just different. It seemed like their whole day is scheduled around church (which runs daily around noon) and it was all about family, love and being thankful. I found it to be very interesting and would love to go back for a visit one day. One of the kids even sent me a thank you card.

I've been around the the block a few times, so I'm not clueless or easily fooled by things, so I'll get that out there before the trolls start digging in to me! I'm just offering another point of view, one experienced by an outsider who spent some time with them.

yea they are real good people, helping plan the killing of little children at the murrah building. OH and hiding out people who have kidnapped children away from their custodial parents. So yea, except for harboring kidnappers and planning terrorism acts I would say they are fine.

I am pleased that most of the comments here are positive from those who have actually visited EC or know some the folks there. And typicalstilwell, you are absolutely wrong. There is no evidence that the people at EC had anything whatsoever to do with the McMurrah bombing. Mabye Strassmeir and Brescia and some of the others they let stay there for awhile might have, but I was there when they were there and none of the community members were talking about such nonsense.

Elohim City had nothing to with the bombing??? The place has how many people there? Maybe not even 100 adults? But "Mabye Strassmeir and Brescia and some of the others they let stay there for awhile might have." So that is one, two and at least 2 more from Elohim that MAY have been involved???!! By your own admission four people there MAY have been involved. That is 4% of the adults there may have been involved. I don't know but it sounds even more suspicious with what you have said.

Hi,

I'm a universtiy student from Europe collecting some material on Christian Identity movements.
Does any one know a mailing address of Elohim City (or do you know if the UPS even delivers letters there)?
And does anyone know if they have any literature (sermons from Robert Millar etc.)?

Thanks for any info.

Yes, Mergenta, everybody is OK. Starr is fine - wants me to give her a call. Rachel is sending me her number. Rachel bought a nice new mobile home, and put it on some acreage she bought some years ago about a mile from EC. I'm back in OKC doing floors again, and think I'll get Rocky's help.

It seems that this is the only forum that is still around about EC in 2010. Some documents were declassified that the FBI had, but they decided to eliminate public access to them. Wonder what that was all about. Leave it to the Stilwell paper to be on the vanguard of journalism in this late age. I guess I'll always wonder what led these super powerful organizations - the FBI, the BATF, the Mossad, and the German government, to get involved with these simple people buried in the hills of Eastern Oklahoma. Maybe calling them intelligence agencies is an oxymoron.

False flag. That's your address, Josiah, not Elohim City or any of the Millar's. And by the way, you haven't even had a problem with the Millar's compared to what I'll bring to your door.

Hi, Patrick. My name is Dan Matheny, and I could probably help you out there. I could put you in touch with one of the members of that community who has kept all the records of sermons given and so forth. Thanks for your interest. dan.delrioboy@gmail.com

Alright, let's try it from this angle: If two boys that attended Columbine school shot up a bunch of people, does that mean the administration was inherently involved? Or their classmates? There's a lot I don't know about the bombing, obviously, but I do know that the people in Elohim City - the permanent ones who have lived all their lives there - had absolutely nothing to do with that hideous crime or any other.

I drove through Elohim City a few years ago. There were kids playing outside on top of a large concrete pad. There were a few adults that stopped and watched me drive by, but didn't seem to have a problem with me being there.

If I drove through and took a few pictures, would they have a problem with it Nibbler? I don't want to offend them, but the place looks really cool!

Also, it looks like there is a runway nearby if you look at Google Earth. It's to the southeast of the compound. Does it belong to them?

Psst! Don't tell anybody, but my sister and I are part Choctaw from my father's parents. That is why we have never been allowed to produce seed with the Millars. To answer your question, native American brother, or sister, you would be allowed to stay there and would be unharmed, but would not be allowed to mix with any available single people. It was originally known as a white separatist community, and despite the Indian community just down the road, they lived in relative peace (though there was an unfortunate incident a number of years back between a couple of the teenagers from both communities), EC remained a backwater side-show to national politics. It started changing when Robert Millar became the spiritual advisor to Richard Wayne Snell, who claimed he saw something at the Mena airport for which they were really executing him. Which had nothing to do with the relationship between the native Americans and the Millar family, but then Bob (as I knew him) decided to have Richard's body buried at EC. As we know, burial grounds are sacred, and as the scripture says, "Where the carcass is, there the eagles will gather." I'll leave it to you to decide what this enigmatic scripture means in this day and time. Blessings, Dan
