He killed himself. Don't know that for sure but I woudl sty that the family and friends wouldn't be on here yapping at you about it if someone else had shot him. They would be on here yapping with you about how they were done wrong.
Because someone has questions, wonders, would like to know, does not make them disrespectful, mean, hateful or rude. You ask because you don't know. Usually people will answer questions unless they have something they are guilty of, ashamed of, or wish to hide.

He was indeed a good man and my heart aches for his family. I know what it is like to lose someone in such a devastating way. No doubt he is in peace and pain free. Keep the good times in our memories and he'll always be with us. Spade Mountain, I'm sorry if I upset you, but I had been hearing alot of garbage about him since they hadn't clue what this wonderful man had and was going through. I'm tired of thsoe making up stories to suit their needs when in fact a great man was simply tired of suffering and couldn't stand the thought of what the furture was going to hold as well as having his family watch him decline. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and I hope you will once again be able to smile when you think of him or see pictures instead of shedding tears.

Thank you Highway Man...I apppreciate the info. Myself and some of his former students would have liked to attend the memorial but couldn't find any info until it was too late to make arrangements to attend. If by chance there is a memorial page or something to where some of us could post our condolences to his family, we would appreciate being able to do so. Again thanks and I'm sorry about all the negativity that has been spoken. As you said he was a very good man and he will be greatly missed.

Negativity? People asked questions, they were not negative. They answers they went away. Then along comes people and start it up with crap the family might have wanted kept private. If you are going to post about us, at least get it right. Now, please leave it alone as we were ask to after the information they WANTED posted was posted.

First of all you get it right...I wasn't talking about the posts here, I was inplying things that were spoken elsewhere...Wasn't trying to bring anything up because I don't want the details of what happened...my response was to Highway Man, not you!Believe it or not there are still some people in this world with compassion and that is not to be confused with gossip! As for any one else out here reading this post...It was not my intent to offend any one so for that I appologize.

I believe you can still goto the funeral home's website and post your condolences. I can understand the family being upset reading things about this traumatic event, but it wasn't like I was describing everything in detail. As far as his medical conditioin, it wasn't a secret and as hard as other want to deny it and pretend all is okay, the truth is it did happen and I can understand his thinking. It wouldn't have been Carl if he didn't try totake control of the any situation. Like you "former student", he was a great man and will be sorely missed.

Thank you again for the info, I will pass it on to others who would like to send their condolences and as far as I'm concerned you have not in any way posted anything offensive or given more information that was needed so I hope you know the remarks in my response about details was not directed to you it was to one who insinuated that was what the post was about. My posts here was to find a way for students to pay their respects to the family and for that Highway Man, I thank you again for your help.
