Why not...
I am so glad you laughed, it is all so true, no one was hurt, and material things can be replaced. Your home would have been devistating,But in time 99% corrected, Yet some one stuck in the car would have been forever.
I am sorry to hear of the cars "swim, But thankful all is well. Accidents happen,I was reminded of that myself just yesterday by a state police trooper, but no one died. And its better to laugh, material items are just that material...May you and your neighbor share a great year together and many more...your grand children will love the story.

I'm surprised that they estimated the car to weigh 2300 lbs. The curb weight of the 1st generation miata was only ~2100 lbs, plus it's listed on the sticker inside the door panal, so I wonder how much crap she had in the car to push it to 2300. Was there an extra body in the trunk??

Heh, that would be a pretty cool pool toy though. Until you get stuck in the seatbelt that is, but at least Darwin would have a good story to tell.

Hey, Ramone ... I am a female racecar driver and on-track instructor. I'd be glad to prove to you that some women can in fact drive quite well. But yes, this gal definitely made it harder for those women who actually know their way around a car.:D However, she was not actually driving the car ... she just apparently forgot to engage the E-brake. DOH! ROFL.
