I think the "africanized" bees did a drive by and killed them all.You would have thought that the gold teeth, dreadlocks and baggy pants would have given the regular bees a clue

"If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe then man would only have four years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man." –Albert Einstein

Mankind has no experience with eco-system collapse. Worse, the psychological distance between the supper table and agriculture means Colony Collapse Disorder is now only viewed as an economic issue, not as an existencial threat.

The event trajectory is catastrophic.

I agree with Brad - and Albert. This is very serious and just one of the many signs that indicate how sick our planet is. My father is a naturalist guide in the FL Everglades - for the first time in his life he saw no or almost no mosquitoes in the swamp last summer. No mosquito eggs on the water, no fish food, no fish. I guess when big business finally feels a pinch, it will become a problem.

Lets take a hard look at seeds now used in many of our fields that are sold "ready" with weed and insect resistance built into the seed. Just call it a gut feeling.

I like the gut feeling from Omaha.

Lets take a hard look at seeds now used in many of our fields that are sold "ready" with weed and insect resistance built into the seed. Just call it a gut feeling.

Here';s one that meets with some research beyond the gut feeling.

Compare the disappearance pattern of bee dilemma with the chem-trail patterns that have been foisted on the US environment by the oil barons. Also, look at the prevalent resulting patterns of fungal problems as associated with both chem.-trails and weather changes.

even though the bee sting is extremely painful, i hate to see these little munchkins become exstinct. i heard it was cell phone signals that are to blame..

to bad the nasty creepy crawlers like tarantulas and snakes havent disappeared.
then life would be beautiful without those scary creatures....

Thats a bunch of crap, bees are not the only form of Pollenization. It might well put a large cramp in our life styles but drive us to extinction not a chance. You do know your quoting text from one scientist and the statement’s over 40 years old and he never studied echo systems right?

could the weather change have a part in the bee problem? flowers are blooming earlier, animals are changing there behavior and moving into new habitats. Also I heard bees are not doing any of there hive duties, causing larva to die. Could global changes be the cause? please help, its my gut feeling

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Sagittarius

You're in a strange mood, Sagittarius. You're feeling impatient and cross, and nothing is quite right. No wonder, with Mercury and Mars retrograde, under a Full Moon lunar eclipse! But is it necessary to be quite so contrary, so determined to do the opposite of what's expected of you? Try to sort out the problem sooner rather than later, then do something energetic and therapeutic so you can burn off your nervous energy. Then you're all set for a great New Year's Eve!
