Such confusion over the difference between county Nazis and state Nazis.

Is your last bit there supposed to be some sort of threat? Better be careful with that sort of thing.

BTW, you seem like the kind of person who might be interested in a deal on some spiffy-looking, low-mileage, leftover brown shirts. I'm pretty sure there are still some available online for a reasonable price.

i seriously doubt that the county police wrote any tickets but all of you "well informed" people seem to know it all. the bridge has everyone mad including me but ill wait and get the facts before posting comments that are totally false.
The article that you suggested another poster read specifically states that the police were handing out warnings and tickets.

"And officers waited on another entrance ramp farther down the road, handing tickets and warnings to drivers who had cut through."

Unfortunately, the Maryland Department of Transportation has provided the citizens of Maryland many examples of their incompetence. What stress tests were conducted on the bridge’s barrier to determine that this was an emergency that needed to be conducted during the Summer travel season, not to mention on a holiday weekend? I feel sympathy for the great law enforcement professionals that are asked to ticket citizens traveling along a public road. Were warning signs posted that if you refused to participate in a traffic jam, that you would be rewarded with a citation? There needs to be an investigation into the DOT’s management of the Bay Bridge. They clearly are overwhelmed with this responsibility.

Using the bridge today to go to the ocean so it is my concern. Come ticket me fool. Going to the ocean for a week. Do I need a special pass to go from Westminster to the ocean?
Do I need police permission to comment on a plolice failure?
Maybe I will show up at the barracks and file a complaint. Will I get arrested for free speech?

I guess it's time that the General Assembly start to seriously consider another bridge across the Bay. Oh, that's right...that would actually make sense and be a benefit to the people...I forgot...this is Maryland where raising taxes to pay for self-interested politicians and their pork-barrel schemes is the norm...not Delaware.

Everyone should go to court! If these cops want to waste everyone's time, then let's waste their time too. Plus if they are all in court for these tickets, they can't be out on the road handing out more ticket's. It's no wonder crime is up dramatically in this state since police are more worried about this crap than stopping criminals.
