On the bright side, now they don't have to fork over for college.

As someone who actually has a child in that school AND actually pays taxes here - search them everyday and do whatever it takes to keep the school safe.

Yes indeed..lets hire more cops to monitor kids jokes and make sure no jokes are inappropriate. Lets turn all of our salaries over for taxes.

I acquiesce...I mean why prosecute anyone who would yell fire in a crowded building. I mean really? Prosecuting is so much more expensive than say mass funerals for children.

Making a bomb threat is an act of terrorism.
It simply should not be tolerated.
No parent should have to choose whether or not they send their kids to school for safety issues. NO one.

Some "jokes" just aren't funny.

Ha Ha Ha!!!! Hoo Hoo Hoo!!! Hee Hee Hee!!!
Oh wait, that's not funny at all. Even a 14 year old should know that in today's environment, a "joke" like this is not going to be taken lightly. No jail time or anything, but she should have to make restitution for the wasted time to the police and school.

With today's candy azs over sensitive society this is what happens. Maybe just maybe before all involved flew off the handle they should of talked to her. And being it's an over sensitive society what restitution would a 14 yr old girl do. Good Grief!
