Both found guilty on all three counts. Guess they were 'asking for it'!

The problem that remains is for the victim- how does she have a "normal" life without the fear that 20yrs from now she could be somewhere with family (a husband maybe?) and some ignorant puke says some shit to her (or family) and ruins her life for a second time...

Just wait until they meet the others in the jail shower room and get their real justice. They will find out what it is like to be passed around like a football.

After16 years, I can say, your question is well founded. Mine were never prosecuted.

I feel that there are MANY stories like his across the entire world that get covered up. What a great world we live in- if your parents are prominent then you can have anything- including someone elses SAT score. In my opinion, sexual crimes should be resolved at the gallows. Crimes of this nature stay with the victim until the rapists are cast into the hell they created for the victim. Horrible- can't go into a store in my hometown without someone knowing, it's like i am in prision and i am a victim.

As a living member of 'The sons of the revolution', members of my family fought and died for this country, and it makes me sick to my stomach to see how utterly corrupt everything is. Oppression barely scratches the surface- rapes occuring in our military and being covered up? WTF? Its not the war on drugs, its a war on people and drugs are the weapon.

YES!!! I am so happy that common decency prevailed over some thugs who can throw a football. Their parents should be so proud of the pieces of poop that they raised. Halleuiah...Ohio got something right today.

I'm so thankful for the GUILTY verdicts as well! I believe a jury would have been hoodwinked and buffalowed. I'm so glad this Judge did the right thing!

GUILTY of being a low life scum, worthless blight on society, usless piece of semi-human garbage. Yeah, the parents did a good job raising these losers without any moral code whatsoever.

Those two punks won't be going to a nice place. There will be a lot of much bigger thugs there from big cities like Cincinnati, Cleveland, Akron, Columbus, Dayton and Toledo. Their butt holes will be so big after a year with them that you'll be able to put your fist inside without touching any skin. HaHaHaHaHa. The two crybabies that were laughing aren't laughing now. I wish them both continuous torture 24/7 for the next year for Richmond and the next two years for Mays. #NoSympathy.

An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. Its in the bible, which our justice system/gov't is based on.

Maybe a little "eye for and eye, and tooth for a tooth justice. Or a little "you reep what you sow"! Jail isn't supposed to be a pleasent experiance.
I love justice

It disgusts me to read the comments that are either defending or making excuses for the two young men. They were found guilty & will now have to experience the consequences.

As for the girl, did she use bad judgement in going to the party & drinking alcohol? Absolutely. Is she the only one who does this? Absolutely not.

If parents would start finding out who their kids are socializing with, where they are at all times & what they are doing, well some parents would drop dead from shock.

Teens are going to do as much as they can get by with. It's up to the parents to make the rules & enforce them.

I would guess that now that the trial is over, either more will be charged with crimes relating to this &/or the lawsuits will begin.

Hopefully the families of the two young men involved, as well as the property owners where the crimes were committed, will have to pay enough money to all this girl, & her family, to leave the area and start their lives over with a fresh start.

She will never forget what happened to her but hopefully she has learned a lesson from it.

Everyone else might want to use this to teach their kids what not to do.

They wont be the biggest or baddest in juvie jail. Not by a long shot. There will be plenty of kids there that make these two look like choir boys.
