It is grossly unjust for anyone to have to pay taxes on inherited money in the first place, so why shouldn't Mr. Silva have hidden it for years? This is another instance of government abuse.

The Swiss Courts have ruled that the information was obtained illegally, that the banks were wrong to share with the IRS. Does that mean that the information should be ruled inadmissible in the USA? Or do the rules not apply to the IRS?

He tries to hide HIS money from thieves and those same thieves charge him with multiple crimes. God bless America.
