The Native Americans Indfoians are receiving the very largest US federal government hand out for anyone in the USA and is better off than most will ever be in America with a life time of working. US government does notr dictate how these indians funds are distributed and only Americans Indian tribal leaders do. The 1965 Hart-Celler Immigration Act has destroyed this country and our culture. It opened the doors for millions of illegal and legal immigrants to come here from third-world countries and severely restricted immigration from Ireland, England, France, Germany, Italy, etc. I hear people today say "Oh, they'll assimilate just like my grand-parents did." 2 things: You really don't need to assimilate that much except for in some cases language if you're moving here from Dubline, London, Paris, Rome, Berlin, etc. You pretty much know the basics. The second thing is that most people from Europe want to "contribute" and not either "game" the system or "take" from it. Huge difference there. These people from third-world countries are from cultures where "gaming" the system is the norm. They have not interest in assimilating and the proof is in the pudding. I our country has been in decline ever since Ted Kennedy pushed the 1965 Hart-Celler Immigration Act through the Senate and LBJ signed it. It's ironic that the bill that most severly restricted Irish Immigrants from becoming U.S. citizens was pushed through the Senate by Mr. Ireland himself Ted Kennedy. We need to repeal the 1965 Hart-Celler Immigration Act and put a 10 year moratorium on Immigration to the U.S.

Just 6 yrs ago, before the illegal invasion impacted our area in earnest, Sterling was a nice, clean, low crime, modest middle class community. Today it's decayed to the point where recovery would be difficult. I believe the Fairfax proposal of criminalizing overcrowding could be effective on that front but ultimately it's not going to change the mindset of the Nomad like tendencies of these folks who could care less about our values, standards, morals and lifestyles. They and their 12 roommates have no desire to fit in with the community. If the politicians in Canada or the United States do not have the guts, or the wish to enforce the country's laws, just why do we expect the immigrants to obey or respect the laws? They come to our country,(either the U.S. or Canada), they don't bother to learn the language, the values or customs and they take advantage of all that is offered, because they don't have to learn the language, the laws or the culture. They want to bring little India, or China or Mexico or whatever with them. If that is the case.....Just why do they leave India, China or Mexico, and why are we so stupid, polite or politically correct to allow it. We don't! The politicans do! Don't bring the garbage you are leaving in Mexico, India or China here with you! If they over populate and destroy their own country and destroy it's fisheries etc, then try to escape the mess, why do we let them overflow into here to do the same thing. If they wish to continue to speak Chinese or Punjabi, if they wish to cheer for their 'Old Country" during the olympics, or other sporting events, then why do they not stay where they have come from? Because we do not insist on them learning the language culture history or values and respect the laws. That's why they have 5 families living in one 4 bedroom house. They want what we have built here, but they also what to stay Chinese or East Indian or Mexican, and not bother to become good Americans or Canadians. They what their places to look like their old 'homeland', and we are stupid and polite enough to allow them to destroy our countries by doing so! If I want to listen to Chinese or Punjabi I'll go there. If I was to immigrate to a country with a different language then I now speak....I would learn the language.... if I had to. If I did not have to, and could claim I don't understand when I break the laws I guess I would! It's our own fault, and if something is not done to stop it soon, it will be too late, because there will be too many of them and they can give the politicans all the votes they need to stay in power and allow this garbage to continue. If an immigrant comes here and then wants to break our laws, not learn the language and disrespect our ways, they should be sent right back to where they came from, with NO possibility of returning. If we don't respect our country and laws enough to insist on them being obeyed and enforced....Just why should some immigrant, especially if they don't have to. They came seeking a new land to start a colony where they could have religious freedom. There is nothing about that to hold over our heads, BTW. I don't think anyone is criticizing people who come here and establish a life abiding by the laws. I for one do not want illegals having access to my Social Security which I have worked for all of my life, when they haven't contributed. They need to come here the right way - no objection to that - we all started somewhere, but the people who come here for a free ride are the ones we want to leave. It has nothing to do with anything but that. We don't want illegals here trying to make our country like theirs, when they left it in the first place. That is stupid!
