Muslims respone to terrorism is like the Blacks response to the New Black Panthers, or Hispanics to La Raza. They "sort of disagree" with the so-called "racials" but never really take a stand. The radicals (Jihad, Black Panters, La Raza) are tougher and more committed and the moderates are ultimately spineless.

Strange, that Obama wants to protect Muslims. It seems there have been numerous terrorist attacks against America over the past twenty years carried out by Muslims.

Stop all of this political correctness crap and tell it like it is.

It was not Irish Catholics who flew planes into buildings and the ground killing over 3,000 people on Sept 11th..... it was Muslims.

We need to turn up the links and associations of Muslim hate groups. Here in Columbus there are several. CAIR is located on Bethel Road and supports many violent and dangerous Muslim groups.

Either recognize where the enemy comes from or accept the dangers. I see where they come from.

B Hussein sure does not give enough evidence that he is against radical islam.

Representative Ellison in Minnesota is a muslim race baiter. I get damn tired of being subjected to TSA body scans, when 5 towel heads walk right through.

Israel and their El Al Airlines uses a very clear screening process of looking into your name, country of origin, passport and where you are going. They do not have plane hijackings either.

I agree. All you have to read is the manifesto written by a Muslim for only Muslims to see, An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal For the Brotherhood in North America.http://www.investigati veproject.org/document/id/20
Scroll past Arabic to read the translation. This document was confiscated by the FBI at a Muslims basement, hidden, and for only Muslims eyes.

And another document, Shariah The Threat to America, http://www.ce nterfor securitypolicy.org/p18523.xml
Click on book, then to left of Amazon click on Look inside to read the book. Originally access was much easier, but now they are selling it. But with a little finesse you can read it anyway.
This book is in-depth, and compiled by many knowledgeable people in the counter-intelligence field. It goes to the root of the problem and how this Administration is willfully blinded to the reality of terrorism.

About 300 people gathered in Times Square in New York yesterday to speak out against the planned congressional hearing, criticizing it as xenophobic and saying that singling out Muslims, rather than extremists, is unfair

Life is unfair. Maybe they would rather enjoy the "fairness" in Muslim controlled countries.

Even though this article is not even listed on the front page of the online Dispatch, the nattering nabobs of negativism with regard to Islam have found it and are sounding forth. And if it were on the front page, it would have gone viral by now with hate speech--meaning the expression of hatred against and suspicion of Muslims.

And, of course, the obligatory accusation that our President is "one of them."

These are not signs of health in a country that believes, as a core value, in the right of Americans to worship freely.

The level of dishonesty expressed here is deeply disturbing--particularly as it is likely being expressed by people who have accepted lies as truth. The belief that CAIR is a hate group that supports organizations is an example. It is hard to track down original sources to this belief, as it has been stated and restated so often that it has become truth in the eyes of many. But, if one is suffficiently persistent in demanding evidence, one eventually gets down to CAIRs having been named as an "unindicted co-conspirator" (a virtually meaningless accusation, requiring absolutely no proof, nor offering any opportunity for defense) in the terror-finance trial against the Holy Land Foundation and its former officials. In fact, a long list of organizations was so named. The connections rely on a web of who knew whom tracing back to the Muslim Brotherhood.

What is not often acknowledged is the level of government cooperation from organizations like CAIR and others in training in the post 9/11 era and in both prevention and identification of factors that contribute to the radicalization of young people. Similarly absent is any recognition of formal statements by many Muslim groups actively opposed to terrorism.

There are in American far too many who not only seriously accept all Muslims as being enemies of the state, but this has begun to be a factor influencing public policy. When legislatures are wasting their time in declaring Sharia law to be illegal (completely overlooking not only that no one is trying to make Sharia legal, but also that existing laws already protect us from capricious enforcement of laws that run counter to the existing system of laws), it is time for someone to stand up and start naming the wackos who are pushing this tripe, and acknowledging that they are not only wackos, but profoundly unAmerican wackos.
