I am the boys mother. I have never been so scared in my life. I can't believe that anyone could ever hit a child and keep going. Please keep your eyes open and help find the minivan or SUV with a missing passenger side mirror . He is doing a lot better today, still really sore. He suffered a concusion and injury to his left foot and a lot of road rash.

The young man who hit your son didn't realize it. I know it's difficult to believe but if you knew the teenager & the details of the accident, you would certainly try to begin to understand.
The teen was horrified when this story came out & he realized that it was him. Both him & his fily wanted to rush over to you & apologize, see your son, explain, etc, but they were told they cannot contact you. The teen is beside himself, sick over this accident, he's never hurt a soul in his life. He is a hardworking, studious, goal oriented, quiet, gentle, young man who is a member of the school band, an Eagle Scout & an honor roll student.
This is such a sad story for both boys & family and I pray for all concerned & I hope your son is doing well.

I'm still praying for all involved, the boys and their families!

Well, now that he does realize it, don't you think he should turn himself in to the authorities???
