I'd have to say Leominster is just as bad if not worse.

A Fitchburg man was arrested Friday on charges of drug possession, distributing a Class D substance, defacing property, assault with a dangerous weapon, possession of a Class E substance and possession of a Class D substance.

Shawn R. Kountz, 21, of 714 Westminster Street in Fitchburg, posted $300 bail and is due back in court Feb. 7 for further arraignment and to be assigned counsel.

So this kid recieved a $300 bail?? And a paid for attorney?? The judge might as well give this kid a hand gun on the way out! How about a $5,000 bail? Has he proven to be a danger yet?

Someone needs to smash the BB guns and give him a lesson that he will learn! A slap on the wrist with a $300 bail is irresponsible and will not teach this kid a dam thing! What did he give the judge an ounce of pot and a handful of mushrooms in place of the $300 bail? LMAO; this is unbelievable! This kid will be arrested for worse before his trial!

we are continually taught lessons and we just dont learn a thing...discipline is a thing of the past..do you think for one minute that these kids dont know this?...it is time to take away the right of the government to tell us how to raise our kids...we grew up all right with a belt to the ass when we messed up..there are a lot of good kids out there and some not so good...give the parents back their right to discipline their own kids...and for all you cry baby liberals out there,,,pay attention to the news once in awhile...where do you think that jackass in arizona went wrong? i wonder if he had a bb gun at one point in his life....

Naaa, I'd say they go hand in hand. So many people shuffle back in forth between Leominster and Fitchburg now a days that it's hard to tell where the two cities border anymore. They don't call'em the Twin Cities for nothing you know.

Did Chuckie close down his bar, JRs? I don't see it open at all. Another victim of Fitchburg and its crime, that's heavy hooker area.

You are very observant. The hookers are very overweight in that area.

Is this true? JRs is closed down? About time! There will be a lot of less drunk drivers on the road now!

I heard that a friend of the Venues owner is going to lease JRs and make it a club. I bet now McNamarra and the happy bunch of FPD members will be ticketing patrons now that it isn't going to be a cop bar any longer;good Riddance!!

I heard that the JRs groupies are opening another place across town called "Pillar of the community"!!LMAO How about "pile of dung"?

Oh ya, Downtown Leominster, sweet place to go. not. It is just as big of a dump as the Burg. The shopping is done at the mall, not downtown. Give it up, there is nothing special about the area, just the street lights are brighter so the roaches have to hide in the corners. Don't get to high on your city, it will never be anything special. Same gangs and low life welfare crowd. No denying that. The mayor does a better job keeping things hushed is all.
