Really wish there was some sort of alert system when stuff like this happens. I live up that way, helicopters hoovering the sky and cruisers flying up and down the road.

I hear the Leominster and Sterling police did an awesome job - as well as the state troopers. I know the people who own the house and they are hard working wonderful people - great parents - awesome friends. I hope when both felons are`arrested they are prosecuted to the full extent of the law - 200 prior B & E's - how many does one need to go to jail without getting out. Someone could have been seriously hurt. Lock em up - throw away the key - these people pose as home repair people and go door to door asking if you need repairs - no one home - they go right in - help themselves - nice - real nice LOSERS _ SCUM BAGS>>>>LOCK EM UP.

I agree with Townie, this is a common occurrence in south Leominster lately and residents should know what to look out for and be a second set of eyes. There was a helicopter hovering over head, on top of my house, yesterday for 1.5 hours and I had no idea if I was in danger only assuming so. This is NOT the first time even in the last 12 months this has happened.

Invest in a scanner, both lpd, and state police had plenty of chatter on there to know what is going on.
