All states have had heat waves. The elderly suffer more when no air conditioner is available.The actual heat feel is calculated not only by humidity and temp but the air pressure. The local media really sometimes hypes things up to almost panic level sometimes. But it was hot no doubt and it is something that has been seen here and elsewhere
