On the evening of June 17, more than three dozen of the best high school seniors suited up and played in the 27th annual East-West All-Star Game at Comerica Park.

It was a thrill to watch Josh Pippin (my nephew) along with his fellow teammates play at the CoPa. This guy has had his eye on the ball since he was a little toddler. I can remember being amazed at how well he could bat a ball, catch a ball and throw a ball with complete accuracy when he was just two years old.

All the best to him as he reaches for the baseball stars.
