It truly amazes me how this man can carry on about the problem with meth users and the boom in town however need we recall due to this department there's a dead child, and who knows how many other children that just get pushed under the rug. The problem definitely is meths running sterling but what do you expect when people who should be helping are using, and doing all the same things. Focus your time on training your workers to do their job correctly and follow all the rules not just some and actually use the grants that are given for the right things like helping patents who have lost their kids by one slip of thought instead of fighting with them. Teach your staff to be a team with the parents that do care and want to do better. This department of on going case workers and in take is the most un educated group and worthless excuse for case workers in the state, with absolutly no care for the children involved. It's the most frustrating thing to see, that the director wants to act as if they do all they can to help the community when in actuality all they do is cause more stress and grief. Wake up it's not just a budget issue its a total lack of care and intelligence. They're are plenty of useful community programs not in our county that take people from all counties start making referrals if we don't have the programs, start getting people that want it help like real help not the idea of help Logan county has. And until the dept has helped one family that doesn't end up losing their child again,or relapsing quit telling us what a problem it is in the community and find ways to fix it and be a productive resource for those with the problems.
