Man arrested on embezzlement charges - Journal Advocate

A Sterling man is facing numerous charges related to theft totaling more than $300,000. Curt Batt, a former employee of Dinsdale Bros, Inc., was arrested by Sterling police and booked into Logan County Detention Center on Nov.

i can'y believe how long it took the da to arrest this peice of dirt. he was removed from his duties many months ago and has been continue to live life as if he had never done anything. also reducing his bail to $25,000 is a joke. he probably posted his bail with dinsdale money. i hope they throw the book at him but they will probably just slap his hands. disgusted

questioning time line-It was a very thorough investigation hence the the delay in making an arrest. I am glad the Sterling P.D. conducted the investigation properly rather than rushing to judgment and possibly arresting someone that shouldn't have been arrested. Good Job SPD!

[what do we really know]

I think our country provides with we are innocent until proven guilty. How can we judge anyone based on the information given? Are we sure this is not something the "BIG MONEY" has not fabricated to cover a bigger story? My vote is out til I see more evidence!
