This is not green by any means, have you seen the plants where they make the batteries for this? Have you seen the place where they make the special step transformers for this? Oh wait Pittsfield used to be a place that made a similar product by GE and what, now they are inundated with PCBs.

What people don't get is that anything with a battery, using today's battery technology is just putting a different kind of waste into the environment. So we build Prius cars, and lessen the greenhouse gasses but we are putting billions of pounds of carcinogens into rivers.

TOTAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT...learn it.

It would be nice if we knew what the effects would be. I am not for it in "my backyard" but we do need to do all we can to save our planet.

Sciencemajor, every wacked out, high-tech scheme is touted as the savior of the environment. C'est vrai, mon ami ( and I address you as male since females usually do not take the form of condescending buffoons) the dirty work is done. By the time the dollar signs fade and the impact of the electromagnetic resonance and noise are felt by the unlucky residents of Stephentown, the only smiling faces will be the investors.

Nobody here knows anything about BCON. The flywheel acts like a battery it is nothing like a battery.Gail you need to go to the website before you comment, you sound so ignorant!
