There is a blog in Salem call eyeonthecourthouse. They claim a person can voice their self.Only a select few are able to voice themselves. If these select few attack a person, eotc will not post when one defends themselves. They talk about the good ole boys. They have their own good ole boys and if you are not a part of it, your out of luck. A person is better off posting here where your voice will be heard.

I feel the same there fed, I try to post and they kick my stuff too. I can only imagine some of the high quality people posting there. I would like to join some of their discussions but they just don't post what I want to say. I recommend an eye on salem post where I don't have to post niel maxwell this and swingers club that,,, just good ol dent county folks who can go to the bar and have a good time for years on end and not draw bad vibes from everyone that encounters them. Anyone can voice their opinion on EOTC. Keep it clean, is all that is necessary.
If you go there and read, you will see conflicting opinion.

Usually people who resort to Topix, cannot post on other boards, cause they are rude, and or obnoxious or profane.

Clean up your act, clean up the courthouse, and go join those locals there. All it takes is some class.

It also takes courage.

I agree with fed up I don't live in salem but it don't take a genius to see that there is something crooked going on down in salem I know of 2 diffrent cases where the court house is doing the wrong thing where children are concerned one such case is a friend of mine the grand parents of the children kept the father away from the kids and now that the mother has died my friend wants to raise his children but the courts gave his kids to a good ole boy from salem there is no reason why my friend should not have his children they are just doing this out of spite and someday those kids will know the truth that there father fought for them . there step grandma even has been trying to brainwash the kids she went as far as to tell the kids that there dad sold them to this other man which was a lie they have even told the kids that this new man was to be called daddy and they were to call there dad by his first name . the father gave up his job to relocated to be closer to the kids and has since got a new job now he has been told that his own mother cant babysit the kids if he has to work on the weekends his mother has no I repeate no criminal back ground and has raised 11 children and is a upstanding member of the town she lives in but yet the man who has the kids can go to work and allow his mother to watch the kids I ask what is the diffrence . Its time everyone stood up and said enough is enough already this man has the right to raise his children The man who has them is not releated to them at all he isn't a foster parent and has a criminal background while the father has nothing on his record . The only reason the father has not been able to get his kids back is pure and simple The judge and lawyers are all follwing the good old boy rules

You won't see an intelligent comment concerning anything eotc doesn't agree with, those are not approved. I'd have no problem with that if they would identify who they are protecting. You won't see anything said of Obama that compares to the advertisements for McCain or James Ellis, they are sent but not approved.
There's a lot more than the idiots who post ignorant comments who get edited out of eotc blog. At eotc anyone who attempts to support Obama or is in opposition to Ellis won't have their comments posted.
I find your comment "resort to topix" just what you are doing and rude and insulting even of yourself. Not a very intelligent comment at all.
Topix gets all who want to comment, no editing to suit the one who calls herself "Blogmeister". There's no title to ridicule a comment or support from the blog owner, you're on your own here. You are the only one who has the courage to defend the propaganda eotc posts here. I commend you for your courage, if not awareness of the slanted information you participate in at eotc.
It seems very few eotc authors are willing to post here where they will get all the comments to their posts, rude and ignorant included. eotc is not the voice of the people, it's the voice of the site owner and her friends.

Great post shrub fan. I once thought highly of EOTC. Not any more I firmly agree with you. I know there is more than what is being posted that does not agree with James Ellis or Mccain. Now what is your view on who is running for President, 150Th Etc.

shrub fan, you have that right, I personally know of facts about James Ellis which have not been posted on EOTC with him having a open forum, even after he pissed EOTC off several times. Something is not right there, EOTC has closed the open door to it being a voice of the people and that is sad.

It truly is sad. They had something and have lost it.
All those scanned documents have a lot of information on them but can't be searched for text so search engines can't add it.
It just don't make sense.
I wondered why the Wofford supporters were all emotional blurts and apparently drunken "typers" but only suspected intelligent comments were omitted. I did agree with eotc on that election, they clearly stated they were behind the same man.
I can't get behind someone who can't mow a lawn or get along with club members. I can't get behind someone who is in the pocket of the bush puppet masters.
I have no problem with eotc not agreeing with me, Smith and Obama aren't my first choices either.
It's all we have to work with though if we want change.
Smith already knows how and won't be more of a screw up than he has, ellis can really make us look like fools.
Obama is an educated man with almost the same length of time in politics as McCain.
McCain only knows use of the military to solve foreign problems and has the whole bush crew running his campaign now.
It's interesting to note that McCain's camp released the personal information about the pregnant child. That child and her mother should have been the ones to tell the world or not imho.
They still back abstinence training as a valid educational tool in schools versus a more realistic education and free protective devices for the kids who fail sex ed 101.
Now rather than admit screw up, get a real vp choice and go on, they are going to make kids pay for the good of the party. "For the good of the party" Where have I heard that before?

Have you heard anything about the vets releasing a statement on McCain? I think that EOTC is behind Ellis. I also think they will make a fool of themselves. Then again do they really want the truth? I don't believe they do. The things that are being posted are just pure silliness.

I stoped posting but not stoped reading, and from what I keep reading no wonder some of your all post did not make it to the EOTC.
You can give your thougths on a issue or person with out doing so in such a offinsive way, and with out all the hear say and second hand talk.
when you make a direct attack on a peron or such, adding your name and maybe other proof might be the best way to get the right ears to listin ...

I am not talking about asking a few people. That should tell you something. Lets talk offensive. There has been offensive remarks made on EOTC. Some so bad it makes. Now truth.[Some not all of what is said on EOTC], the ones saying them is blowing wind out of their butts. They have a beef with the city and will gripe at anything and everything. As far as names why don't you start with yours. People like you just want others names so they can make their life hell. I know for a fact one man on EOTC does. I know you are a fan of Mr. Ellis. That's your choice. You need to get over it when someone says something bad about him. He is running for a state office. He knew is life would be drug up when he started. Personally I think he is full of himself, like fan I think he will make a fool of us.

I know of Mr. Ellis, met him once, talked to him twice, so a fan is a strong word.

It seems to me that the ones trying to damage to his personal life are doing a fine jobs of making fools of them selvs..

I know there is a certin amount of public life being open target, however this small group of folks has been beating a dead horse now for a while.

Let me ask a honest question in hopes to getting a tru answer, is anyone on here going to go to any of the things coming up to even listen to either party?

It's not the poor grammar or writing skills or offending posts being disapproved, it's the fact that another is using my posts for their own agenda.
If they make that agenda clear to me I may help them. When they don't they are no better than those who they complain about.
I don't like being in the same club as some who post here at all. It's part of freedom of speech rights tho, all comments should be aired to inform others of another's opinion if they choose to make it public. Sometimes it's my opinion they are not too bright but I'll fight for their right to make fools of themselves.
The anonymity allows ideas and comments that wouldn't be aired otherwise.
I don't advise anyone to post their name on any public internet site just to avoid the inherent dangers of internet identity thefts. I don't use any name not already posted on the net nor bore you with quotes of others long dead.

I don't mind the idea of not allowing some posts to appear on the blog but they should be posted elsewhere and it noted when not included. Telling some to sign and others not is just not the American way. It's the very thing they complain about the newspaper doing.
