Western Cherokee of Salem

[Looking for Cherokee]

I heard that there was a Western Cherokee Tribe in Salem, MO. I was wondering if they were a tribe or just a bunch of wanna be indians.

There are 3 or more John Watson's in the Salem area and all of them are good people. Most all the Watson's I ahve met are known to be good people.
Isn;t it funny, no sooner than a question about wanabes comes in a question, someone brings my family into this! Watson is one of the largest and oldest families in Dent County, would you like to question this "cherokee".

Why would I want to go to a powwow with people that show so much hatred for their fellow man? I don't know much about powwows but the few I have been to are not about what I am hearing on this board. I didn't see where anyone was claiming to be in charge of anything, what are you so afraid of Secret?

John Watson has not sufficiently even proven he has native blood. He does not come from the Watson clan south of Salem. I heard he received a card from lola sholl who did not verify his lineage. It is my understanding that his ex-wife was cherokee. Watson himself made a statement in front of several Southern Cherokee that he wasn't cherokee but that he would be now. Some say he coerced his card from sholl. A pony tail does not make you tslagi. Blood and Heart and the commitment to keep a pure heart and follow Creator's will.
