If everyone hates that place so much then don't go. Do you realize how much money they make on diesel? They rely on the interstate for their income not the petty cash that the small population of Steele has to offer. Haha you guys are so stupid. If exit 8 was closed and travelers and truck-drivers had no way to stop there, then the truckstop would shut down! If the road heading into Steele closed then who gives a fck. 98% of the business comes from the interstate that's why it's called a "travel center". Bottom line is that they don't need Steele for their business, if they needed you guys then they would have built it out of view of interstate in the hood. If they needed Steele for business then they would take food stamps !!! Every store in Steele takes food stamps because they rely on the people of Steele. Not the truckstop! think about it before you get on here running your mouth about something you don't know. They don't care if you like them because you arnt their target customer. If you ask some of the truck drivers that spend thousands a week then you would hear a far different story. Any where you work you are going to have crooked people. I worked there and we each have our own individual passwords or keys to our registers. If we need to walk away then you can lock it down and exit out. If you are careless then it's your own fault if they steal from you. Bottom line is they dont need you to like them. They don't care because you guys are not the ones supporting them, it's the people on interstate. I wish that no one from Steele walked in there when I was there, the majority were just doped up drunks who just made everything harder. They are good people but if you don't like them, then don't go they won't miss you.

If you are short, which usually happens when a indian has been in your register you pay for it. They don't make the indians pay back a dime. I heard the owners are out of town and the indian employees are having a field day ripping them off with the lottery, employees safe drops and game machines.

Even if they sign on with a different number you can see on the printer ticker tape every button pressed to see if it was touched whole you were away. If the logged in under a different number then it would say. You are responsible for your money. Watch it or it's your loss it's like that anywhere you work.

You steele people forget that there are local trucking companies in steele and cooter. Our familes tried to do business with the truckstop but it didn't work out. I'm for trying to support local businesses but sometimes you can't and that is one place I hate to even enter the door.

I don't see how the count on any of the registers ever comes out right.Almost every time I go in there and buy something, they may say,"That will be $1.78."I would pay with 2 one dollar bills. They would give me back a quarter in change because they don't have any pennies in the register.

I like going in there during the day and late in the afternoon to fuel if my favorite american people are working they are so nice. I have gotten to know them over the years and it's Nancy and Paula, there is a new lady that is nice named Debbie. If I go there to fuel and the indians are working I just leave and don't fuel. I think if they would go back to all american workers they might could build their business back up. Truckers are all the time on the radio saying bad things about the indian workers and they are telling the truth. I wish I could sell all my trucks and buy that place and let Nancy and Paula have full control of it cause I could retire and set back in the easy chair. I would pay them damn good money and I know they would work hard. I hope they don't leave. The owners need to revamp that place before its to late. id work for ya in a heart beat just to get them out an us in companys an small stores are over run by these dunecoons we wont our stores back

They are dealing with thousands a day, that business is almost 4 million. The owners don't care about a penny or two.

I heard they are trying to sale it for 4 million but their business has been slow for a long time because of the rude indians. They barley make enough to keep it going but the way I look at it, it's their own damn fault when they first bought it they had all american's in there and it was doing a high volume of sales now they can hardley make it. I guess they just don't get it or don't care. The indians are the ones ripping them off not the americans.

Thieves will be thieves no matter what the nationality. But as a whole, Indians are rude people by nature. Just look at how crowded that country is and you can understand. I have never bought anything there so I don't have a dog in this fight. But if you don't like the service, then go to Blytheville to shop. It is a shame that Steele can't get a decent restaurant to eat at or maybe a Subway/fast food for easy in and out.

It is such a shame that business has went down the way it has. It's such a good location. If it was ran right you could make a killing there.

They took 300.00 total from my pay saying that I was short in my money No paperwork to prove it, their word against mine and they always pay in cash, no checks. If we all got together that were wronged we could do something. Just wondering who had papers served. If it was a former employee and u read this, let me know, I can help. Is there any where on the internet that a person could look to see what they were served?

For real they have roaches, I use to work there. The brother cheats customers out of money everyday. I hope some one does turn them in. Their own family steals from them daily and they don't have to pay back any money, sometimes when they are gone, the brother gets the money out of the safe and counts it makes the deposit and then he has a stack of money in his pocket, yeah with part of it in his pocket an average working person does not have an extra, $2000.00 in their pocket. I saw him with my own eyes take money out of the register and go play thr game machines, cash his tickets out in his own drawer, come up short and blame it on other employees.
