154 by the way, and i am not dumber now than i was then, perhaps smarter for my experiences. I have never lost my thirst for knowledge, and pray i never will. Now I have a college education, then, i did not. That was not meant as a brag, just letting you know i am not an idiot. I am sure that was the first thing you thought when you read my first entry. Most of us think like that when someone says something we do not agree with, they must be stupid anyone can see I am right not them. Don't get me wrong, I am not telling you to grab a gun and go "duck" hunting, but that is the only way i know to fix the problem. Nothing else will work, as we have seen. Until then we MUST look for something good in the situation, even if we don't want to accept there is any to find. Well I found that one good thing. Just the one mind you. Everything else, I agree with you. Until the government bans all narcotics, there is nothing we can do except make the choice for ourselves not to use.

By the way I hope I never know you are in jail. That is for the lesser forms of filth. The movie I recommended to you has these lines in it, "We do not ask for your poor or hungry, we do not want your tired or sick, it is your corrupt we claim, it is your evil that will be sought by us. With every breath we shall hunt them down. Each day we will spill their blood until it rains down from the sky. Do not kill, do not rape, do not steal, these are principles of which every man of every faith can embrace. These are not polite suggestions, they are codes of behavior, and those of you that ignore shall pay the dearest cost. There are varying degrees of evil, we urge you lesser forms of filth not to push the bounds and cross over into true corruption, into our domain. For if you do one day you will look behind you and you will see we three, and on that day you will reap it. And we will send you to whatever God you wish.

Never shall innocent blood be shed, yet the blood of the wicked shall flow like a river.

We must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men." Watch that movie, I doubt you will regret it.

Not an insult but an observation, I have met more fools with IQ's that qualify for MENSA than fools with average intelligence. Common sense will not register within the scale of genius numbers. A person must find the way to survive when the evils of drugs attach the tentacles of destruction around their lives. The damages done are permanent. A BS in history and a college education is not a guarantee one will not fall victim to the lure of drugs. For if that happens, that degree and diploma becomes nothing more than something to wipe your ass clean. All the grand education in the world does not matter when that happens. That is a parent's experience and is true.

That is very true. I hope your child has stopped using. I am assuming that from the way you worded yourself. We all have our own obstacles to overcome, some can not. Drugs do not affect us all the exact same way. Some people get hyper or energetic, while some lay down with fatigue using the same drug. Some experience memory loss while others feel a "boost" from them. I felt a boost. I learned to speed read while using and still do to this day. I hope others that are caught in the tentacles can fight their way out of the grasp. I have "enjoyed" for lack of a better word, these points of view. I hope I have giving some things to think about, as they have me. I have never said I was right, only my opinion based on past experience and the knowledge of history. I agree with Meee about somethings as I do you KyRedd. I also see that we need every dollar that can be spent, spent, regardless of who has it or how they got it, as long as it is not fake. I think it is the governments duty to the people to completely control the distribution of narcotics. They could if they wanted to, but like Meee says, politicians are corrupt and therefore will do nothing but line their pockets with drug dealers money. Perhaps if no one voted for them based solely on the fact that they were dressed well and spoke so nicely and caringly for the votes, and actually got someone into office that was not perfect, that was not born rich, that did not go to a top dollar university, then we would see major changes and perhaps no more drug dealers. If, so many ifs, we could dispense justice as it should be, then there would be no need for the billions to be spent "combatting" drugs. Which is a lost "WAR." Let them set up facilities to dispense the medications needed on an individual basis. Gain better control of our borders and so much of the drugs would not be able to get here. It can be done. The Army Corp of Engineers could build the facilities instead of private contractors that charge millions more than it should actually cost, that is their jobs is it not, to build things for the American people, Pull our troops off of foreign soils and disperse them along the border and the coastlines, we would be able to thwart so much of the narcotics. Yet, as it is, the government stands to make more money if it can keep the drugs flowing, and every now and then "confiscate" the drugs to seem as if they are making an impact on the drug trade.

MCP your words speak a lot of truths, same as do those of my dear friend meee. Many years ago I enjoyed a safe and happy life. One free from the grief I know today. The sorrow of what could have been and now never will be consumes me daily and has taken at least 90% of my joy for life away. I cannot find any solution nor resolution to erase the past. Things are so far from our control with drugs as it stands now I dare not hope for better. I will survive on the 10% I have left and pray that it will be enough to protect the rest of my family. But as it was before, it is always before us and our only immunity will be the power to say NO.

mpv, you should read and try to understand your own posts before you reply to others, you have brought yourself almost but not quite full circle, be sure you know i have never knowingly cheered for a drug dealer, except when they were incarcerated or shrouded and for all the money and grand economy in my or your world i never will, i do cheer for you the user who beat the odds and kept much of your intelligence in tact, until i see or know of you saying one thing and doing another, i now always will disagree with any human using another humans needs to greatly increase their own wealth, and especially when that wealth caused one or the other to do things i know are harmful to their fellowman, it is in the oath of lawyers and judges to protect and guide and money spent and given has been the ruin of the world our forefathers died for , my prayer for me and you and the world is that we can remember how to treat our brothern as we ourselves would want to be treated and since i wouldn't want my child introduced to illegal harmful things i absolutely would not introduce such to yours. i believe in todays world as in the world always you need to stand for something or fall for anything, and the control of illegal drugs is something i stand for, to many a life i have seen destroyed with the use of legal drugs and i will never be for any nut on the street diagnosing and dispensing them. and i will run my mouth, which is legal, until i decide to become illegal then i will do so much more.

Are we not to be shepherds of our flock? Let the Lord strengthen us to tend, console and protect all in our care. To be brave in the face of danger, quickly turning evil away so that we will preserve them and deliver them.

Pray always, pray with love, pray and don't give up.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

The Boondock Saints (1999)
Charismatic young stars Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus play two Irish brothers, Connor and Murphy, who believe themselves ordained by God to rid the world of evil men. Their first killing is in self-defense; but after that, they start killing with devotion, gunning down a summit of the Russian mafia. Willem Dafoe plays a gay FBI agent (he listens to opera while examining crime scenes) who knows what the boys are doing but feels that their vigilante tactics are necessary. There's not much plot to The Boondock Saints--it's mostly a series of violent scenes in which the boys are partially ingenious and partially lucky. The movie seems to want to provoke debate about vigilantism, but the scenario is too implausible to stir any real controversy. The peculiar mix of earnestness and machismo will not appeal to everyone, but it's certainly unique and may acquire a cult following.

i have no interest in becoming like this at this time , that is why i am posting, talking and do all other things i can without me becoming the resident evil, the fact is the only reason some people are allowed to live is because it is illegal to kill them and then of course in my opinion it is immoral unless in self defense, i have been in the presence and worked with many that thought they were the "GOD SQUAD", but as of now i don't wish that name, although if something isn't done soon , i can see me and many others taking this route.

Hollywood can work many miracles through the lens of a camera. However, realtime is not so fortunate. We aren't able to veiw this world in panarama nor witness the hidden recesses of evil-doers. We are only able to become victims of their actions, it is then we can react. The sweetness of revenge lingers forever, the same as damage done from exposure to drugs. Had we never been altered by that devastation we would have no character for revenge. I prefer to feel it is a reckoning. In that it is justice and prevention. They say all things happen for a reason, I'm still searching for a good reason. I had no need to become a part of the world lived in by a damn drug dealer. I had no need to ever witness the absolute destruction drugs cause to a bright and shining life. I had no need to have my famiy's safety and future damaged and forever altered. But since they insisted on entering my world and tearing it to shreds, I have entered theirs and intend to destroy theirs 10 fold. In that is MY reckoning. I'm satisfied each time another drug dealer is convicted. I just wish they had to pay for collateral damage and not just for breaking the law. The addict is totally consumed by the need to use and becomes a thief and liar. How many addicts ever overcome? 7 years is a good start but addiction is for life. The dealer knows this and uses it against the addict who once was a customer. The addict is responsible for maintaining a sober existance, but the dealer is responsible for looking for a chink in the armor. I am responsible for looking for the dealer. They created the miserable person I am when they sold to mine. They shouldn't have done that. But they did and now they must suffer the consequences of their actions. I plan to live a long, long time. And they put themselves in my Crosshairs.

I am not set in my ways of thinking. If I am told something and can see truth and wisdom in the words, I admit them as such. I agreed with both of you, because I understand and am smart enough to see truth in what you say. Righteous anger is all I wanted from you. Meee your first post, to me, sounded like an envious child. As we progressed in our correspondence I realized you truly were angry for the right reasons. I still believe that, for the good of the nation, their money should be spent. Yet, I have to say you are right in your belief that they should be stopped. Glad to know you watched the movie, at least, I hope you did instead of just looking up a film review of it. Destroy that which is evil, so that which is good may flourish.

i can only say that my first post was not envious but intended to be very sarcastic, and money is the primary reason anyone becomes a dealer of anything , drugs included, and that same want or need for money whether to buid a big house, buy a car or even pay the medical needs of a loved is the sole reason for the numerous users left in the ashes, i believe controlled drug use is the only answer, which is why we have doctors and pharmacists and when they become dependant on that which they should control, someone else is in the shadows to be in control, i believe education is the only answer, and then if someone is willing to leave their fellowman in the dust of their money, they should have to spend every hour of every day caring for those they helped destroy and then have time added on to their caregiving sentence when each and every breakover occurs in the ones they have to protect.in some instances and alot more than you would imagine the drug use results in instituionalization because the user is no longer capable of caring for themself. thus "uncontrolled drug use causes idiots, idiots breed idiots, and then what do you have? more idiots" our world needs smart analytical people who will say if i do this , what will happen , and to be able to know and recognize the damage they do to themselves , their children and their families.

That is one of the truest statements I have ever had the priviledge of reading. I did not catch the sarcasm until after reading the last post, I reread the first and feel rather ashamed for my assumption of envy. I still feel that all money should be spent, moved around, in order to protect our way of life. It is the governments fault. Speaking analytically, the government is trying to save our way of life by undermining it. The money is being spent so they have to protect those that spend it. Crazy I know, but that is the way it has always been since the founding of this nation. We built the U.S with "illegal" money. Money that rightfully belonged to England. We did not want to pay them and refused. What happens if you refuse to pay taxes? The IRS comes and takes everything away. That was the way with England, only we fought back, more ruthlessly than they expected. We have the right to refuse taxes, the right to impeach any elected official, yet, we do not. I have never understood why more have not been removed from office, but there you have it.
