Ha, sounds like a typical "time share",the owner did not allow anyone on site nor would they make a public statement! Just like the time share contracts...it's all in the FINE PRINT ! LOL

The structure isn't safe to go in because of the fire/water damage, and they're waiting on the official cause to be publicized before they would say anything...most businesses are like that.

Too bad about the fire though...SA is a pretty nice place to have a relaxing day.

Not a big time-share guy myself though...I don't really like paying for vacations years in advance.

I'm happy that no one was hurt. I must say that I loathe SC. The people who go there are a menace on the roads. They're tired, lost, and not paying attention. They drive very slowly and run stop signs. How do I know? I get caught behind them on a regular basis. Run stop signs, you ask? One of them ran a stop sign and totaled my car. They were tired, lost, and paying too much attention to their GPS and ran a stop sign. No one was hurt, thankfully.

I'm trying to figure out which stop sign. There are none from I-64 (Zion's x-roads), Gordonsville, and Louisa. You can bet though, that if someone's driving 33 at slower than 40 MPH in that stretch, that's where they're going. I don't mind the place, I know people who live back there, who have stayed there, who have had wedding receptions there, and who work there. The golf course was meh, but they're not affiliated with BG (bluegreen)/ SC

They were depending on their GPS, which as anyone who has a GPS can tell you, the routes that they can provide can be rather 'interesting'. They wound up on a back road about ten miles away. I have no idea how they managed it, but they did.
