He should have had his family in mind before this happened, if he is guilty.

Forget Stokes's family Calvin's death has been brought to rest with his family but what about Keisha's family. We suffer everyday not knowing what happened and why. Stokes's chose to do what he did and now he should be punished not only by the justice system but by God also and he will be if he doesn't repent. So I really don't think his family feels half as bad as Keisha's or Calvin's in that matter so you can save your sympathy and pity violins for somebody else.

First and foremost Calvin was not crazy. He was very loving and giving person. Calvin was raising his kids by himself with the help of family. And now there are 5 children without their mother or their father because of a dollar bill. There were only one set of handprints on the gun and they didn't belong to Calvin.

I am Keisha's mother. My family has known all along that Mr. Stokes was involved in this tragedy somehow, but our question is why? Why was my daughter taken from her kids, her family. You say that Calvin loved Keisha, but I think that he had become obsessed with her. Remember what he did in Winder ( A GUN HELD TO KEISHA'S HEAD)? Calvin might not have been crazy but you have to admit he had mental issues. Anyone who will try to commit suicide, doesn't care about taking another person's life.I don't know why Mr. Stokes would even agree to have any part in this but I am sure that the truth will be revealed. Being a mother I feel for Calvin's mom & his kids, but you will never know my pain. In the end God will reveal the whole truth and will judge righteously. I pray everyday that God will not let bitterness build in me, but this a hard task. Not once have I heard from any of you,or had anyone call to check on the kids, yet you say you loved Keisha. The only thing my daughter ever did to you all was be kind. I want you all to remember one thing: They might have killed the flesh, but her spirit is with God.

You say that no one has contacted you to check on the kids but that is a two sided argument. Both families has lost someone special and dear to us. Both families can pick up the phone and dial numbers. Do you have any love for Calvin since you seem to doubt that anyone could love Keshia?

Please know that I feel bad about the situation, for the kids sake but knowing what Calvin did in Winder, what am I to believe? I did call and spoke with someone who said they were Calvin's aunt. I just like you didn't have a number, but someone down there did because they called on Easter Sunday. I have never been to your houses but Barbara,Jerry their girls and Calvin's brother know where I live and no one came. And know that just as the Lord revealed this much He will reveal the rest.

I'm the uncle of Keisha, she was very dear to my heart, I helped raise her. We the family of Keisha are not trying to judge anyone, because we know that God will do the judging. The only thing we are asking is WHY, just as you are probably asking. We can't understand what really went wrong, we was waiting to see our baby come into the Church, instead we got a call telling us she had been blown up in a fire. We need some closer, I don't know if the family and friends of Calvin was able to view his body, just to kiss him and tell him good bye, WE COULD NOT DO THIS, I still have days and nights thats just overwhelming to me, not to mention her parents, sisters, brothers and Grandmother. We are not blaming the family of Calvin or Jerry Stokes, this has been the only contact or outlet we've had since our baby was murdered. Try to understand our situation.
Ms. Hall (Calvin's mother), and his brothers and sisters, God will do the judging just as he has said he would, because GOD is JUST.

Hello, I am Keisha's baby sister. I just want to say that we can keep going back and forth but the truth of the matter is that I will never be able to see my sister again. Whether Stokes did it or Calvin did it, that does not matter. I know that my sister was a special person and didnt deserve it from anyone. The one thing I know is that I lost not only a sister but she was my best friend all over what I think was uncalled for. And to the person who states that they didnt have a number to get in touch with the family or her kids, its mighty strange you had the number to tell us she was gone, you could have called that same number and at least put forth an effort, but honestly all this back and forth stuff is meaningless to me because it will not bring my sister back, but I do know that God does everything for a reason and whoever is responsible will get their JUST REWARD because God has the final sayso in all things. To Ms. Hall (Calvin's mom) and his siblings, dont worry God knows and see all, we will get our answer before its all said and done, lets bury the hate because if we want to see Jesus when our time comes we have to be right.

Please know that my prayers are with ALL of you. Because deep down I know that none of you ever wanted anything like this to happen to our loved ones. Let us take better care of each other and when we see one of our love one having probelms lets not wait until it's too late to get them the help they so desperately need. I know that Calvin loved Keisha, but I regret that he didn't realize that sometimes love means letting go. To Whitney I would like to say baby I feel your pain I was a daddy's girl too. May God bless each of you.

I believe in America we are innocent until proven guilty. It is my understanding that Jerry Stokes has been arrested, NOT convicted. We should feel empathy for all families involved, Jerry's, Calvin's and Keisha's. Let's hold our judgements and accusations until the proverbial "Fat lady sings," for all is not always as it appears to be. If you have an ounce of brain, put you thinking cap on...Who benefits the most from Calvin's death - What reason would Jerry have to kill Calvin - Why did Calvin's mother want the investigation stopped...There are still more questions than answers.

Mr.DAngelo believe no one is judging anyone we are only going on the fact that someone in that building killed my daughter. I didn't know that Calvin's mom wanted the investigation stopped and now that raises another question for my family,WHY? Doesn't she want to know what happened to her son?
Believe me this is pure hell on earth for me and I just want "the fat lady to start singing."
