While the empty storefront along Amboy Road in Great Kills didn't look like much Friday evening, volunteers spent the night transforming it from a vacant space into a toy distribution hub, where Staten Islanders affected by Hurricane Sandy could come and pick out holiday gifts.
My girls picked few gifts yesterday. Their smiles make all the worries go away. THANK YOU!!!!
