after reading the story from her uncle it is so sad what her husband is doing to her family. why can't he look them in the eye, is he guilty of something? what is he afraid of? I hope the police soon find out who is responsible for this terrible brutality of this poor girl. Simeonette was out making a living doing what she liked, helping people, and there are not that many people in the world that do that. Why does it seem that the good are always taken first. My deepest and saddest regrets to her family. R.I.P.

A murder in the home? Well, who do you think the very first suspect is? It's ALWAYS the partner.

The med examiner will determine the time of death very accurately.

The FIRST question to the husband is, "When did you find her, where were you before that?"

The husband is either cleared very quickly or goes to the head of the suspect list.

No one has said where this guy was. Big problem for him.

People don't stab strangers multiple times. That's an "up close and personal" kind of crime.

So here we are, not much has happened since July 14, still no one arrested for this crime. Where is the murder weapon? No one heard or saw anything? Who is taking care of her two dogs that she loved and they loved her? Their has to be some info maybe on a computer or a phone regarding what was going on in her life? Please someone find this murderer so that Simeonette's family, friends and neighbors can find some peace.

okay now we are at the end of August here on Staten Island and have not heard one word about this case. I hope the detective's are still working hard on this murder and are not going to let it go to cold cases. Their is still a murderer on the loose. I'm sure Simeonette Mapes-Crupi's parents are on these detectives backs to find their daughters killer/killers. I wonder what has transpired between son-in-law and her family since July. Please try to arrest someone here, the people of Staten Island have not forgot about you.

The cops are trying to slove the case! We don't want to send an innocent person to prison right? Chill out have a glass of wine and let those with knowledge of how to solve murder cases do their job.
