I remember those when I was a kid!!! You bought that bar when you couldn't decide what candy you wanted, this one had everything! All candy bars back then (early 70's) cost a dime, Thrifty Ice Cream at the counter was 5cents a scoop, sugar was five bucks a pound and Hot Wheels were still a dollar just like today!

that was the best non-answer i ever read ! mr know it all didnt answer the question. he just gave a weak acct of the company.

the question was : whatever happened to the 7-up bar ?

the answer is : it was called SEVENUP. not 7-up. in any event the 7-up bottling co bought it in the 1970's and then 'retired' it.

Hi! I'm asking a question for my Mom, who's been trying to find the Music & Words to a Tune she's been having going Over & Over in her head from when she was young. She thinks the name of it is ...SILVER BELL. It is an Indian Song,(moms great great grandmom was Indian) Anyhoo.... It kinda goes like this... and Maybe not word for word BUT here is What she remembers:
By the Light of a Bright Starry Night, Sat a Lonely Little Indian Maid. A Chief A-Waning' to Woo,Sang this refrain. I've come to tell you, My Silver Bell, Ore' Hill & Dale, Happy to Tell, My Silver Bell, Of the Love I am Bringing, Ore' Hill and Dell, Happy To Tell, My Silver Bell... Well, There you Have it! Thats what Moms remembering but would like to find the melody and exact title and words. I tried googling it, and found a Song (even had the Album Cover of an Indian Maid on it)... but was called "SILVER STAR", and She said, NOPE... That was NOT it... Was close, only the " Waning to Woo part" but the rest of the words were different... CAN YOU HELP!???
THANKS BUNCHES ! Qweeny.

Please tell me I am not dreaming. I remember Rick Springfield playing Harm Rabb the very first year of "JAG". Harm Rabb was originally a Vietnam vet which would make sense due to Springfield's age. After the first year Springfield was quietly replaced by David James Elliott who, in my opinion, was a younger version of the first Harm Rabb. In fact, they made Rabb a Gulf War veteran. Am I nuts??
