Ok you don't have to go to the academy to tote a gun but you do have to shoot a post coarse and pass it the academy simply gets you your post pay

If you need help, you gonna call a cowboy or a police officer? All the people complaining about the police dept. ought to think about the ones who lost their lives protecting them or the ones they love. Get over it!!

Yep I'm such a fool. My ? Is how can you come to this conclusion when you do not have a clue of my occupation??? So would that not make you a fool to judge me as a fool without you knowing a single fact about me?

No? I do know you are lacking in education, "judging" by the way you wrote this note. I do know that the protection of a "cowboy" is opening up the doors for a law suit; whereas the law enforcers are protected to a degree. I do know I can dial 911 and get someone to help a lot quicker than I could get a "cowboy" to come to my rescue. Wait until you or someone you love gets in a bad situation (God forbid) and see who you call.

Lol is all I can say. I lack so much education. I guarantee I know a whole lot more than you on law enforcement... And I said if it comes down to rpd or a cowboy. One of the many reasons I do not reside in Rayville city limits.

Then, with all due respect, I believe you have a moot point?

You are definitely an anomaly. You live in the Parish, not the city, but complain about things in the city that shouldn't affect you. Like Timekeeper said, "moot point".

Again, you people are quick to think you know everything. Lol. I just laugh at the ignorance. I have worked with them enough to know what I am talking about. Just because I do not live in the city does not mean I am can not be affected by things in it...

I heard it was about to be shut down. Just eavesdropping the other day at the sheriffs office, between an officer from the DC and one of the town cops.

Agreed, the happenings in the town my somehow affect you... However, the original argument was that the city police would not be an effective protection to you. If you are at home and facing an invasion? The city police probably would not be your best bet. Therefor, a cowboy might be the best way for you to protect those things. However, in the city limits? I believe that they are pretty effective. I have no problem with these men serving and protecting me... As a citizen of this town.

As far as my knowledge of the justice system? Let's just say I am pretty proficient. ;)

He is in NJ working now since he got pretty much fired when planning to quit. But this is no lie, it was blatantly obvious... Just because he is your son does not mean he could not have done things. You made no valid point with the rambling. Im glad he went and seems to be in a better position now. And the fact that you knew who I was talking about and the fact that you are so quick to jump and say "she is spreading those lies." Like every single person that is in similar spot does, says everything.

You still are spreading lies. He gave his noticed in and worked part of them and is taking the rest of his vacation days to finish out his employment. Did not get fired. So find out the truth before you spread lies about my family. Praying you get a heart and find the good in people! Only heartless, jealous people spread lies and rumors!! Just saying. End of conversation.
