Iva police chief arrested for domestic violence
#1 Jul 31, 2014
SC makes laws for only certain people undoubtedly! Ever seen anyone else P R out on a CDV? What makes this law alright for some and not alright for others? Let's once and for all get to the bottom of why certain people are protected!
Anyone else out there feel this way? Looks as if with no post either the public doesn't really care, or they're afraid to post how they actually feel because of retaliations!!!!!
Just take the dam law off the books!

In the past I worked for a long time at a Magistrate court. People get a P R bond every day for CDV charges, men and women both. The judge looks at prior charges and uses that mostly to determine what type of bond they set. Normally with a condition that the person charged not have any contact with the victim until the court date. I dont know the Iva cheif at all and dont really have an opinion on him just letting you know what is normally done in all cases.
