Hi, I'm diabetic and about a year ago I had a lower leg amputated due to complications from diabetes. I've been on painkillers everyday since and have become physically addicted. I've looked online and heard suboxone is a good therapy for opoid addiction.
My question is have any of you tried this type of therapy? If so, what were your thoughts and results? Also, are there any clinics in town (West Point) that use this suboxone? Thank you for your time.

No, I'm nearly 55 years old with a family and wouldn't risk do anything illegal. I actually just want off my pain medications. They're becoming too expensive and I don't like having to rely on them. My neurologists said just take a week off from them and see how I feel. Well, after a few days I thought I had the flu and severe aches and my blood pressure was through the roof. So I started back my medication and began feeling better. Just want to stop without going to the hospital this time.
