expressed concerns on why Cooper Tire in Tupelo cannot receive some of the same tax breaks legislators are being asked to provide to the planned Clay County plant.

Better yet why is Cooper not supplying Toyota and Nissan?

What we have is the taxpayer supporting cuts in wages and putting other people in the state out of work. The whole Japanese auto plan was to keep Mississippi poor. We need home grown business not international corporations raping us. and sending the profits home.
