We all can contribute to peacemaking by uniting ourselves consciously with others in this cause.

Thomas Jefferson said, "I love peace, and am anxious that we should give the world still another useful lesson, by showing to them other modes of punishing injuries than by war, which is as much a punishment to the punisher as to the sufferer."

I'm not the only dreamer. Check out what Congressman Eric Massa of NY-29 is putting forward:

Congressman Kucinich and Ralph Nader too:

We have to put it out there anyway. I know the cynical reality is "Money over People"; but the enlightened consciousness does not accept any reality as permanent. Especially that one! One fails terribly when one surrenders to a concept(e.g., War)- the Mind first, Intentionality second, Action third and in that order. Therefore, we have to choose to not surrender to the concept.

The TAPI Natural Gas pipeline is probably the "real reason" were escalating the Afghan War. the TAPI pipeline is supposed to be a 56", 1,040 mile pipeline to be run from the Caspian Sea area in Turkmenistan to and through Afghanistan then through Pakistan on into India to provide for the growing need for energy. The project is slated to begin construction in 2010. The area needs to be stable in order for bank financing to proceed. It's supposed to compete against another pipeline from Iran. The IPI pipeline from Iran to and through Pakistan on into India; it's already under construction. The U.S. does not want this to happen.

This is being kept very quiet in the Media and in the Govt. I have more articles, all from foreign news sources.#3 is an OP from Democratic Undergound, but does not contradict anything I've researched.

More reasons to Protest this very expensive, pseudo-War in Afghanistan (and all). How about extreme hypocrisy, immoral killing of innocent, foreign citizens and multiple violations of U.S. War policy for starters. Why Pres Obama chooses to leave the "kill switch" on.
Check out prize-winning journalist and activist ALLAN NAIRN on Jan.6,2010 "Democracy Now" on LINKtv for his compiled evidence for the anti-war position at this link:
