That guy is probably real glad to just get back into the wilderness.Seeing as mating season is just about to begin. That is what probably had him so careless in the first place. Assuming it is a male.

It's a pretty bad state of affairs/priorities when an animal hit by vehicle gets the top billing on the 11:00 PM news. It's then followed by a story on a guy beating up his dogs.
Then...."oh by the way"...here's a story on child abuse, or 2 local men killed in a car crash, or how Faith in God has carried 2 Michigan families
thru a tragic/joyous mistaken identity fatal crash. I think you at WOOD TV News need to re-think some very basic things about life.

Now will the DNR finally admit that there ARE in fact "big cats" in our area? We've had several sightings in our area yet the DNR claimed them as false.

I think it's a great story. I'm tired of seeing all the negatives. And, it's important to hear that families in this area still rely on GOD in times of need. We are constantly barraged with all the anti-religion crap. We have a right to express our beliefs whether others agree with them or not.

Yes, maybe the DNR will admit we still have bobcats in our area. We had a bear in our yard south of Belding a few years ago and the DNR refused to acknowlege it. We have coyotes all the time!

I think this answers the question of big cat's pretty clearly. Hurray! a story that's new, good and different. I'd rather every news day was filled with these stories and other new items instead of the same recycled "major" news stories. If a story isn't new or at least had a major change in status then don't waste my time with it every broadcast. People abuse each other all the time and who cares??? It's not "news" unless they all quit or someone has a solution that leads to them quitting. And don't get me started on God in the news. You want God read his book don't waste my time with it.

Bobcats in Michigan is nothing new. They are not "big" cats. In northern Michigan they are hunted/trapped.

Bobacats arent Big Cats.....10-15 lbs max. You are probably thinking of the cougar sightings...still denying them, although several sightings are out there. I have seen tracks of a large cat while out hunting.

Yes, better than hearing about another shooting, or another candidate whatever, far far better. Nice to read something different for a change. Nice to know he was let go back where he came from.
