The av multi out is loose or something. We can't get any picture at all on the screen. Supposedly the two that were playing it last pulled the cord out roughly and it quit working. Warranty is out.

Sound like they may have changed a setting from av to hdmi, you can try resetting by following this:

On the PS3 from Standby (red light on) depress the power button till you hear two beeps. That will reset the resolution and you should get a picture.

If that don't work it's possible that the cable is broken, you can try someone else's cable if you know someone that has one to see if that is the problem.

If any above solutions don't work for you let me know I can take a look at it and see if I can fix it for you for a small fee of 35 dollars plus cost of any parts that may be needed. If I can't fix there will be no charge.

LOL and send friends LOL Don't know when I'll open the shop as in the mean time I been doing house calls with most repair jobs that will take an hour or less anything longer I can pick up the computer bring it back to my house fix it and bring it back to you and hook it all back up. I charge a $25 dollar diagnostic fee. The fee is waived if I do the necessary repairs.

Dustin, 35 an hour plus parts to work on the ps3 should take about an hour and a flat rate of 70 bucks to replace the motherboard plus parts
