Toyota settles first wrongful death suit related to unintended acceleration

Toyota's sales seem to have rebounded from the unintended acceleration issues from 2009 and 2010, but the automaker is far from done dealing with this situation.

To prevent such incidents, before they sell the car they must double check it. The words "unintended acceleration" likely strikes fear in the hearts of Toyota executive. With hundreds of cases to follow, Toyota has settled the very first wrongful death suit for the matter out of court.
