What can I do if I uncover an internet scam? If I have proof is it still untouchable?I clicked on an advertisement that said free PS3, Rockband, and HDTV. But of course I was skeptic(Or right out didn't give them any benefit of the doubt.) So I looked the policy for it's flaws and also the game rules and then last the website. And I noticed code on the site itself that changed your information to someone else's information. keeping them from sending you any of the free items.
Question 1: Is there anything that a lawyer could do to them? maybe at the least force them to give me what they promised because I upheld the terms???(which I haven't yet)
Question 2: not really a legal question. but what do you suppose would happen if I un-did the malicious code and forced it to send my own personal information?
