JS Pottery moves retail space to Mount Holly's City Cafe

As rising gas prices cut into their profits and reduced retail traffic to their Lowell store, Jack Sexton and Grace Carr starting looking for creative alternatives for their pottery business, JS Pottery.

First the City Cafe, now JS pottery. Why is Belmont losing businesses to Mt. Holly? Cheaper rent? Better demogaphics? I don't get it!

City Cafe was ran out from what I understand..they didn't want to leave and BFNB sucks! Food is good if you don't mind growing a beard waiting for it. I liked it much better in it's little spot.

I think the City Cafe's food has actually improved since they moved. BFNB is just too smokey for me to tolerate and waiting only makes that worse. It really just a bar in my opinion.

maybe the rent is cheaper in Mt. Holly.

Don't worry until you see a U-haul in from of Old Stone! Belmont still has better restaurants than we do. ;)
