Wee scholars preschools phone is disconnected. Another Thomas failure? How many people did she rip off this time? Let's hear the new news with the Thomas slant! And without. Always good chatter over a cold one at shakeys

She was taking money for this up coming Fall program and telling those people that were enrolling their kids that they had to put an up front deposit down. What is that? I have never heard of this before ever. Is this something new, because I never had to put down a deposit when my kid went to Pre-K. It sounds as if the Rent was not getting paid and she was trying to get it from the new people coming in. What a shame! Sounds a bit shadey, however, this is not the first time that I have heard of this type of behavior with her.

I am totally sick to my stomach. To think that I sent someone over there that I know and recommended it to them. How could someone knowing that they are losing that business continue to take on registrations and just keep taking money from people that are working hard to keep there families together financially? They have known that the business was failing obviously....it is just Pathetic!

Is it possible that it is closed for summer recess? Our sitter does the same thing, closes the same week or two every year so the parents can plan accordingly.

Checking it out now. If thats the case it is good. Just get crazy if it involves people I care for. If i jumped all over this because of bad info, i will apolozie for sure. but so much crap happens in that town, and with some individuals that I know, that i go crazy. I'll keep you posted. Kids need real leaders.and no parent should accept anything at face value!!!!!!!!!!

You more than jumped all over this and I do not see any reason to do so. Even if the school is closing how is that harming anyone? It is unfortunate that someone is going out of business after putting in so much work. I have heard great things about her school and her program so whats the problem. I have to agree with the other post this sounds very personal and I think you have some ax to grind with Gina. Why don't you tell everyone Pepperoni Pete what your problem with Gina is...this is not just business you put a lot of stuff in your post that was not relavant to anything.

today, businesses are getting hit hard. but so r building 'owners'. Theres an owner of a building that has been given the shaft by Regina. Just sayin' Leaving again-and owing everyone is not a business person. It starts to hint of scamming. What's the next adventure? Whose next??tuff to get backing when ya got a bad rep.
Child care is important. I just want to make sure after I was told about this is that peoples make sure that no payments are made if the school is indeed closing. Netcong residents don't need to fund a dying business and leave parents without child care in september. It will become personal if anyone I know is out $$$.

Apparently the Gina cheerleaders think it is O.K. to pre-register kids for a school that might not be there this fall.

Hey Pete just got confirmation you do know what you are talking about. There is a lease issue at the School.Turns out all the B.S. about you starting rumors are unfounded.I think the Gina backers owe you an apolgy. Dont hold your breathe waiting for it, as she is a God in their eyes and can do no wrong.

i don't post rumor. My concern is that as a forever area resident I have witnessed a lot of behavior from this chick and again, for personal gain, more people get ripped off. Why isn't she running LVRHS's BOE. They wouldn't tolerate the many scams and uneithical behaviors.

The word will hopefully get out there, so people can protect their money as well as their children.$$$ is tight. Expensive equipment does not make a school, nor does a Public relations blurb all the time. Kids need consistance, Kids need love, Kids need care. They don't necessarily need equipment. Just think. Affection is free and with a legit preschool teacher, that could have given a start to a business that does have growth potential. It takes brains and effort and some seed $. Regina has none of those qualitys. Have a great nite.

The signage stating that the Preschool is accepting Fall Registration should be TAKEN DOWN. Yup, Regina should be planning how to elegantly bow out of this one. We are waiting for the next chapter. There is a large unsold supply of balloons from a previous sham. Now Regina will have a slew of desks and tables. hmmmm. balloons and tables. Add a little music and stilettos. I see a business opportunity in the making? lol roflmao

Ok, so there may be a lease "issue." That doesn't mean the school is closing or that the owner is scamming etc. Why not wait and see if the school does indeed close then you can start throwing stones. Those that are interested in having their children attend WEE SCHOLARS will do their due dilligence in researching the school, the instructors and their solvency. Just be fair before you judge.

Im a betting man. I neglected to expose the entire lease "issue". I'm just concerned with residents losing money. My posts are here so that you are DILIGENT IN RESEARCHING THE SCHOOL.
I can agree with you. As long as residents hold on to their money until the doors open. Securing placement for kids is important. I never critized the college educated instructor. It's the owner that is calling the shots. Lawsuits after the fact are good but always remember ya cant get blood from a stone.
I can wait and see. My neice has decided otherwise. I still believe my bet is the winning one. In the meantime, do your due dilligence. bet things are headed where no one will expect them.

I guess I have over reacted and I am being a dick. I have been talking with my therapist about my anger issues and I guess it is not working. I have asked him to up my meds so I can stop taking my anger and disfunction out on others. Please forgive me for my horrible behavior!

Wee Scholars Academy is closed down! The phone is back on-she must have paid the bill. But honestly, did anyone think she would run the daycare any differently than the way she runs, yes the way SHE runs, Stanhope School. Think about it- there is never any consistency, never longevity, no open communication and of course unethical and problematic decisions based on her personal relationships rather than what best for the school. Who wants to bet she will be employed by the Stanhope BOE within 2 years - just enough time to get rid of the people she wants to get rid of, not who is best for the school.

Our CSA should not be getting advice on how to run a school from the Board President - that is what our CSA’s mentor is for. The Board of Education is there to implement policy and procedure, the CSA then in turn should put them in place and enforce them. Yet Gina Thomas, who feels she is the entire BOE, is constantly making the decisions. Our CSA doesn’t have a backbone and our teachers and students suffer because there is a lack of confidence in their “leader”. One day, hopefully before it is too late, Gina, Dr. Cleary or one of their minions will be held accountable for their actions/decisions.
