Are you kidding me? I started going there and I took some family with me on Easter Sunday and Bro. Fralix was up there screaming that if this was your first time at church you shouldnt of came to his church. In so many words if you only come to church on holidays you shouldnt of came to his church.

I've been going to New Hope for a while now and I love it. I've been there on Easter Sunday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and any other holiday that lands on a Sunday. He is passionate about what he preaches as he speaks the truth, through the Word. He doesn't believe New Hope is HIS church, he believes New Hope is God's church. I think you might be missing the point, Please. I think maybe he was making a point that if you are truly saved, you will want to worship every single day, and attend church on the days the doors are open. Whether or not your family is truly saved is between them and God, but if there is no fruit, then really it's kind of a slap in the face to Christ to attend only on family holidays. David welcomes anyone to the church. I would say that maybe next time, if you take a message personally, either talk to him about it, and get a better understanding of what he is trying to say, or examine your heart. One or the other should give you the answer you are looking for. Also, be in the Word, it makes a world of difference in your interpretations of the message.

Also, I would like to add, he steps on my toes every single Sunday morning, and Wednesday night. I don't take it personally, I just dig even deeper as he is the first to admit that the Word speaks to his own flesh as well.

Oh my...I guess you are the one that thinks New Hope is a cult? Truth hurts "to whom it may concern." I'm thinking you want someone to tickle your ears right? I hope your pastor/preacher/minister will stand up for what is right and preach on the things that aren't necessarily pleasing to the ears...or toes. I would love for you to elaborate on your comment, To Who It May Concern...

I've been to New Hope and I felt very welcomed. Everyone was so friendly and the best thing about it was that those who can't afford the tip top fashions, were welcomed just the same. I saw everything from jeans to dresses, and no one looked down on those who are less fortunate. I will go back again. Why do you say that David Fralix is far fro a preacher?

What were his comments on Hustonville Elem? Why would I need to worry about the skeletons in his closet when I have a few of my own? He's human, he's not God. Would love for someone to give me true accounts rather than repeating hearsay. How bout it??

I have heard great things concerning the commitment of New Hope Baptist Church to the Bible. Many have commented from the 'outside'. My question is this: Is the truth of Scripture preached and taught at New Hope Baptist Church. I intend to find this out for myself. I have listened to some CD's and internet messages from David Fralix and other teachers/elders at New Hope, and, I must say, this is one of the most faithful churches to preach every precept of every Scripture. They do not avoid any Scriptures. That is unusual in our day, but it is refreshing.

I am ashamed to admit it has been awhile since I have been to church but Freedom Baptist in Stanford (by Dix river trailor park) is awesome. The preacher Ben Curtis gets the spirit moving in your heart. He makes me want to run up to the alter.
David Fralix is a wonderful man I have never heard him preach but as far as his skeletons he can testify because he has been there. He can reach people that others can't and show them what God has done for him.

Does not David Falix preach that when babies die they go to hell?
, Does he not also preach that you are predestined to heaven or hell , That God chose who would not be saved ---he says it all set in stone ---and that is not true God knows who will except him and be saved and who won't ---but he gives us the free choice to choose to be lost or saved David does not preach that and he thinks people are set to go to heaven or hell and we have no choice it's all set before we are even born ----and that is so WRONG God gives everyone the choice to except him or be lost ---But we have a free choice ---That's why New Hope Baptist Church is no longer in the Lncoln co. Baptist assco because David was preaching a falsehood , of course i'm sure that's what he was taught at the seminary , but the bible tells us to search the scriptures and find the truth ---you need not follow what man says ---only the Bible . Please ask him you don't have to believe me ---that's what he believes and that's what he will tell you ---i have heard it out of his own mouth ,!!!
Be very careful who you follow ---you may follow them right into Hell.

Be VERY CAREFUL who you choose to listen to. I had a preacher at my childhood church some years ago. He was young, had a family, seemed devoted to them, and preached the hell fire sermons. He didn't care if you liked what he had to say or not. I thought, Finally, someone who will preach the bible as it is. WAS I WRONG. Come to find out, he was messing with a lady much older than him in the congregation, he at first tried to say everything was rumor, then went on to say that if the supposed RUMORS didn't stop, he was leaving. He didn't have to leave, he was told to leave. He was in really tight with one of the deacons who even stated himself that he was misleading the flock, and this deacon is a very Christian man. He, along with the preacher, would visit every time you missed church to see if you were allright. You don't see that much anymore. What Preachers need to be doing is living what they preach. Of course they are human also, but they have alot of responsibility with their occupation. My dad became saved with this preacher for the very first time, you couldn't get him to step into a church before, and for the first time in my life, I could not wait to get to church just to listen to this man preach. He even had sessions on Rev. which alot of preachers seem to avoid. He not only managed to split up his entire family, he is no longer a preacher, and he led alot of people astray. This just reaffirmed what my dad had always told himself, people are only Christians when others are watching. So now my dad will not go to church. It's sad. Preachers need to preach from the bible, and by saying that, God comes before a ballgame on Sunday, etc. I have heard preachers talk at the podium about the Ky Wildcats, etc. This is no place for this!!! The only subject that should be broached at the pulpit is God. The church family needs to call/visit those who came to church and haven't been back, but in a caring manner, not to try to belittle them with threats of hell, although hell is true, if you teach these people the word correctly, they will know what will get them to hell and what will get them to heaven. It's all in the bible, a preacher doesn't even need to have to tell them. Babies going to hell, ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Any child under age 12 that has not accepted God is guaranteed a place in Heaven because God does not consider the child able to make that decision until they reach the age of 12 years just as Jesus did. I just wish that we could have a church where the people work together, not for brownie points, but from a desire to please God. And to you preachers out there that may be reading this, this is meant for you. Re-evaluate your church and what you are teaching.
