His Name is Robert P. Knetsche and he is the surgeon at "The Spine Center of Central Kentucky" in Danville. I was wondering if anyone of you is now or has been a patient of his "or" know anyone that is. Please take the time to let me know what your experience has been with him.

Same happened with a family friend - not sure who they ended up seeing in the end though.

Yeah he wants to do surgery on me also but the surgeons in lexington do also. I wanted to be closer to home though. The operation that Knetsche wants to do is the same one the others were gonna do so I think surgery will hafta be done. I just wondered if he like messed anybody up.

Any spine/back surgery is risky. You have to know your body, figure out what all the risks are. Weigh those risks with your current condition and figure out if it's worth it. Good luck.

Dr. Knetsche Is a Very good Doctor. Knows what he is doing. He has fixed a lot of other doctors mistakes he also does not always push surgery. He has done surgery on a family friend who couldnt walk cause it hurt so bad and he was able to walk a week after surgery. He also worked on my grandmother he is great.

Dr, knetche is a very gifted Dr. He repaired spines that were shot to pieces in iraq and afganistan. I know several people he has really improved their quality of life. He has received his training in the military which i believe he got the best training available in this country. Danville is very lucky to have him!!

I was a surgery tech in the Army and have worked for 3 years with Roddy. He is an excellent surgeon who was one of 2 Army wide that performed the Total Disk Replacement procedure. very successfully on wounded soldiers that would not have been able to walk had he not done it. My husband who also suffers with herniated disks had asked if surgery would help him and Dr. Knetche told him to wait until the pain became unbearble first due to the good disks between the bad ones. Surgery would only make those bad as well.
I have all the confidence in the world in this surgeon as a person who has worked with him, his sterile technique is beyond reproach and as the wife of a wounded warrior, he'll not blow air into your head needlessly.

I had a surgery done by this guy a few months back in my lower back. Not only did the surgery fail, but now the orginal site is worse than before, i also have a second buldging disk. After the surgery and another MRI Dr. K assured me that there was nothing wrong with my back, another doctor of mine gave me a report from the secong MRI i had done after the surgery that DR.k performed, and a copy of the report from dr.k specicically in detail explaing what is wrong with my back post surgery. but he still says there is nothing wrong with me... I am haveing a second spine doctor do an opinion of what i should do about my back and with dr.k

Dr Keifer is Lexington is scheduled to do surgery on my son. So far I really like him. He is in with Tibbs and Brooks.
My uncle went to the Spine center and he had fantastic results, He didn't even have to have physical therapy and he is in his 60ies and is back to playing golf with no problems.
