Vermont logger pleads not guilty to theft of timber

The owner of Northeast Wood Products pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Bennington District Court to a charge that he logged $40,000 worth in timber from a Stamford property without the owners' permission.

Should that be; "Former owner of Northeast Wood Products"?
I thought I saw a piece a while back where the company was foreclosed on, and auctioned off.(Did I miss read it?)
