I'm sure the floors at headquarters will be nice and clean

Now they've made Justin an errand boy. But a very expensive one because he's still earning his full partrolman's salary.
Hey, I have nothing against the guy, and feel sorry for him about the seizures. But this is just another way Miron and his cronies are ramming it to the taxpayers.
Yeah, I'm sure the department really "needs" an officer to do a "range" of errands around Police Headquarters.
Just make sure he doesn't have that gun. Or even a pair of scissors.

"McCauley said the decision to allow his return to work was made jointly by Police Chief John Buturla, Town Attorney Richard Buturla, Human Resources Director Ned Winterbottom and herself."

McCauley, the Buturla boys and Edmund Winterbottom? They decided this all by their little selves? And Justin's mom works for who? Oh yeah, Edmund Winterbottom. Or is it the other way around?

Is Mayor Moron hiding behind something here? Suddenly he's not involved? It's not really his decision? He has nothing to do with it?

Jezebel, it is funny how Miron is suddenly not involved, isn't it?
All his cronies are taking the fall for him, because they know if he's elected they get to keep their jobs.
But Miron can't escape the fact that HE was the one who hired Justin when a report by former Detective Dinihanian strongly recommended against it.
As did the police chief, the CAO and two doctors. Still, he hired him. Wonder if it was because Justin is the son of his bosom buddy and pal, former Deputy Chief Joe LoSchiavo and Human Resources Assistant Linda LoSchiavo.
Sorry, Big Baffoon, you will never live this one down. Not when you put the public, the other officers and even Justin himself at serious risk by your corrupt and incompetent actions.
Having fun playing the fool at the Shakespeare Festival? At least you're getting all wet, which you've been for a long time.

Great news! Justin's back Justin time for the the final two months of the campaign that wills sink Miron.
It really couldn't get any better than this, with the whole town now understanding how corrupt this crony mayor is.
Just keep reporting the facts, Connecticut Post, that's all we need to drive this lunatic from office.
Miron Made Decision

Who is McCauley and Ridenhour trying to kid?
Of course Miron made the decision, and they just followed along like the sheep and puppets they are.
No one who serves under this mayor is allowed to have a mind of their own. They just repeat the lines the GREAT LEADER orders them too.
Anybody who thinks otherwise is naive.
First, the mayor hired this officer who has a history of seizure disorder and was advised against being a cop. Then, he orders him back to work, despite concerns by his crony assistants that without a town doctor's note it wasn't advisable.
Good. Let the Moron take his campaign down with him as the November election approaches.

The Chief and Mayor need to stop with the corruption. Look at me guys, it gets you nowhere. Well, maybe a small little box where you can do alot of thinking about all your misdeeds. I never really understood what it menat to tell the truth until i get to the big house. I tried lying to my cell mate, and next thing i knew, i dropped the soap and he made me tell the truth. Boy, i cant wait till you get here Moron, my cellmate needs a new boy toy. I cant take this anymore. See you soon.

Oh, by the way, a friend of yours, Josephina says hi. Her name was joseph (ganim) until she got her that is.

Sgt. Joseph McNeil, the union president, said there are "different rules for different people." ۩

Cmon Rich, you were doing good for a while, but you must know by now, Joe Mcneil is a CAPTAIN. Get it right. I dont give a rats @ss what the chief or Winterblowem say. The man is a CAPTAIN. The best, honest, respectful, intelligent leader that circus of a PD has ever seen.

Does this mean Justin will be getting the coffee and sandwiches for the police chief and other officers?
Oh, no, I forgot. He can't do that because he can't drive to get it.
And he can't leave the building.
Not bad work, if you can get it. File a few folders, make a few copies, take a few calls, and get paid a regular patrolman's salary.
Gimme a break. He never should have been hired in the first place, and he sure shouldn't have been brought back as an errand boy now.
This was a corrupt process, and it just keeps on getting more corrupt by the day.
Meanwhile, the mayor is over at that phony baloney festival playing the Court Jester. Have a good time tonight in the rain, Mayor Hatchet Job?

Lets get one thing straight, McCauley and Ridenhour have NO authority to do a damn thing.. Thye cant go the bathroom without raising tgheor hand and getting Mirons permission. So the TRUTH is that Miron had the department "MAKE" a position for sonny boy there.... Let me ask you this: Did this position always exist? Was a a hiring policy followed? Maybe there was someone else more qulaified for that job too? SO, are we again just handing out Town jobs, paid for by Tax payers dollars to children of friends, for no apparent reason except to "get the person a JOB" BOY, Linda must be some crack HR person... ever hear about advertising "outside " the family???
This is disgusting and a waste of MY taxpayer dollars... Stop paying him officer pay for doing errand boy jobs.... Ya never should have hired him and put our safety at risk... The votes could not come soon enough!!!!!!!!!!

You took the words right out of my mouth. Who is Miron trying to fool by having his lacky hacks say it was "their decision" to bring Justin back as an errand boy.
It was Miron's decision, as dictated to him by Joseph LoSchiavo, who must have something so good on Miron he can get whatever he wants from him.
What's the story, Mayor Hack? Why do you continue to kneel at the whims of Joe and Linda LoSchiavo?
Must be a whopper! It will all leak out eventually, like all your sordid actions do.
Hopefully before Election Day.

They hired him against advice and now they are stuck with him. The only way they will get rid of him is to work out some kind of settlement that he leaves under or retire him on a disability. Either way, it is going to cost the city. They screwed up and now they are going to pay.
Picket Mayor and Chief

Shelton, CT

#14 Aug 28, 2009
I have nothing against most of the Stratford cops.
But the mayor and his crony, Police Chief Butt-urla need to know how ticked off the taxpayers of this town are about this whole fiasco.
I says let's picket the mayor's office and the chief's office, carrying signs and placards to send the message that we are tired of their corruption and cover-ups.
Bringing this guy back to do "light" work is an outrage. He never should have been hired, and he could have killed a whole lot of people.
The mayor is to blame, and the Butt-urla brothers (police chief and town attorney) are next in line.
I would suggest picketing Joe and Linda LoSchiavo too, but they are just so pathetic it's not even worth it.

another example of just how corrupt this mayor is! Everyone knows that Linda Loschiavo is pulling the strings over there and a cop friend told me that JOE LOSCHIAVO SR walked Justin back into the building to get him back to work. And this guy is retired but still is running things? I guess Buturla has got to go too!

Unfortunately, the Stratford taxpayers are going to once again have to bear the expense of retiring Officer LaSchiavo on disability because of the corrupt and flawed hiring process for Officers. Im sure Stratford residents would like to see the Officer patroling the streets, not a bell-hop boy to run errands for the Chief.

I would like to know what his injuries were that put this Officer on light-duty because if its anything related to seizures, wouldn't that be considered a pre-existing condition? prior to being hired? Just a question of concern since my tax dollars are paying for all this...

I think Blumenthal should be looking into this hiring.... that is if he's willing to risk support of the party for his intended run for the US Senate. Come on Joe, tax dollars are at stake. What did we hire you for to begin with? We wont forget we election season rolls around.
