Well contamination may go far beyond Stamford
Health officials are urging all Connecticut residents with private wells to test their water for contamination after 31 percent of 628 wells in Stamford tested positive for the banned pesticides chlordane and dieldrin.

The suit states each site is illegal and will pollute the water.
Here are more sites from the same suit. Some appeals, all were lost and the dumpers were told to clean these up too.

These are all illegal dump sites from a suit Blumenthal illegally dismissed when he first took office. From the same dumpers that brought you Mt. Trashmore. Nobody ever paid a dime and this list is about 10-15 MT. Trashmores put together. These sites have been removed from the contaminated or potentially contaminated site list from the D.E.P. to help cover up Blumenthals illegal activity as Attorney General. This is all the stuff he swore to clean up when he first took office. Vietnam was a small lie compared to his actions as Attorney General. So if your water comes from a well near any of these addresses there is an excellent chance you have some demolished houses, which includes lead from plumbing and paint, asbestos and even medical waste in your drinking water. The state tests show stuff at 0.5 mg, but can be seen and harm you at 0.0001 mg. So with the 0.5 needing to be reached to be seen, the State will say your water is fine. Seems the State wants to pin all the contamination on someone elses pocket, like the lawn companies.
