Lowes in Paintsville

My husband and I have spent over 60,000.00 dollars in Lowes over this last year and a half and when trying to take back 5 items today for all totalling less than 100.00 my husband was told he could not take it back. They said we have returned to much items. All we have ever done was have that amount put on a lowes gift card so we could go get more items we needed. I have a rubbermaid box full of lowes reciepts and returning with out haveing to look through everyone of those reciepts was great. But apparently you dont want our buisness because you had to except returned items. Well congratulation, you just lost it and hopefully many more people that we know, because I will not stop until you loose a tremindous amount of buisness in this area. We will be going to F.S. Vanhoose and Home Depot now for our home improvement needs. This is ridiculous and just plain bad buisness when you dont want to except returns of 100.00 to be put on a gift card that we were going to turn around that very day and spend that 100.00 and 200.00 more. Your lost! When I talked to a manager on the phone at Paintsville Lowes they told me their was nothing they could do and when i asked for a number to contact corporate, he gave me a fake number, 188844lowe, apparently you have some really good employees that love to help their customers, Not! I could go on about this for days and I will in other forms like local newspapers and internet, but I think on here you get how frustrated I am. So long Lowes, you will never get another dime from me or my family. Congrats!

if you want credit or your money back on something..bring in the darn receipt What an idiot!

We took the receipts in after this and then they said they could only take 6 receipts, so no we are not the idiots, they are and you for being so simple minded to start calling people names when you have no idea how this situation works. Im guessing you have never spent this amount of money on anything. If you have then you would understand the frustration.

. The number they were trying to give you is 1-800-44Lowes. It's a real number, sounds like you're just dumb. And Lowes is one of the best places about returning stuff. If you don't have a receipt, we also have the mylowes cards that save your receipt. Many of the people yelling aabout not returning something is the same people saying they don't want a mylowes card or who refuses to give their number at the time of purchase (which they do so they can look up your receipt btw.) Sounds like you are just irresponsible.
