Thanks to the trickle-down of federal Homeland Security grant money, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office will soon purchase an armored incident response vehicle for $250,000. It is part of a $302,000 grant package that will also buy protective clothing and license plate readers.

This is just what stafford needs,they have been known to shoot people for no reason.Now they will take over the whole area.

It appears that this country is turning into a police state. Stafford nor the Fredericksburg area needs these armored vehicles. What a huge waste of tax payer dollars; Just like those naked body scanners at the air ports.
