Pastor dies in motorcycle crash

We were all grieved by the death of my brother. I thank God that Sam served God and remained faithful until death. At this time of Easter, we celebrate the hope that is ours through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. St. Peter called it a "living hope" because it is a reality! Sam has gone on to be with God. Our prayers are with his wife, Manilla Owen, and their son, Brantly! May the God of all hope comfort them with the Holy Comforter and heal their grieves!

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of what seems to be a very fine man. I am friends with the driver of the truck, and I know that he has just recentley found God in his life. I mentioned to him that he should reach out to the family and friends and he replied that he has had phone calls from several people but was waiting for things to settle down. Thank you for being a TRUE christian and helping him settle his mind. Out of all tragedy's I believe their is a very powerfull lesson to be learned and may we all learn of how grace is in everyones life as long as we are willing to reach and search.
