4 Republicans, 1 Democrat take township supervisor positions in...

Young, 38, has served on the board for two years. He said in an earlier interview that he was concerned about the township's "oppressive real estate property taxes" being paid to the Greencastle-Antrim School District and to Franklin County.

Anybody know who won Lurgan Township Supervisor position? I believe the candidate on the ballot had passed on and there had to be a write in.

Fred Young III what a piece of work!!!! Fire all the those people and then hire himself. All the programs he cut are now coming back. The waste of money at the Park. This guy is a real tool. I see the sunnyway diner lunch club came through again. Mr. Young you need to listen to all of the people (public) in the township rather than a select few. Kinzer can only carry you so far. Myers & Baer Need to go when their terms are up.

Stearn is a Democrat. He filed a nominating petition for the May primary as a Democrat.

Young and the others who voted to streamline the staffing levels in Antrim township did a fantastic job. Until that point, the township was going to spend five million on a building for their expanding workforce and storage.

Young, et.al. come along and do what true Republicans should do -- make government smaller and more efficient.

If you are a true conservative Republican, you will appreciate the fact that instead of spending five million on a government building, they put it into a park for all to enjoy...AND...eliminated taxes!

So let's recap...taxes dropped to $0...government became smaller...government became more efficient...hmmm....maybe Young was listening to the voters after all.
